If guitars are layered how do you play live? I know a lot of bands will use backing tracks. So the guitar on stage is being played live, but there might be a recording also playing.

Man I’m so excited to hear year of the rabbit remastered, it’s one of my favorite albums. And I can’t wait to see the documentary. If it’s possible ever, remastering the Golden album on vinyl would be amazing, or even just copy pasting it on vinyl. I’d buy it in a heartbeat. Mange is my favorite song of yours and if that album was on vinyl or released as an actual cd I’d be all over it.

I recently got myself my dream bass for my 40th… you can guess what it is. The sound that’s been in my head since I started playing when I was 12, the sound I’ve been largely failing to will out of countless other instruments is FINALLY in my hands. Hate myself for waiting this long. Anyway… I had somehow managed to avoid going down the Failure rabbit hole before getting this thing, but holy fuck am I glad I’m here. This channel of yours is AMAZING! I’m so grateful for the time you’ve put into sharing your passion, going into all this detail sharing the tricks… I can’t wait to devour it all. This video is a particularly surprising treat! While I’m not a filmmaker myself, some of my closest friends are and my wife is a photographer. I found this glimpse into ‘90s sausage-making absolutely fascinating. I often think about the “pressure” of burning through 2” tape back in the day and what that does to the vibe in the studio… but this is orders of magnitude more scary. The result is spectacular. You’ve got great ears, eyes and taste. Thanks again for sharing all this!

I feel of Failure now like that one secret corner food place that made the greatest food and no one knew about & you could eat there alone without no one bugging you or that record store no one knew about either & you could go & shop & find the greatest things in there, but now after all these new fans or jump in the wagon posers, it doesn't feel the same, I do not blame the band, it's all commercialized.

Wow, YotR update! this was unexpected, thanks!. While I like YotR a lot, I remember Jeff Gaber's ephemeral band called The Joy Circuit. They reminded me of Failure, they were also great. I always loved you two guys. Don't know where is he now, apparently making music for films. I'd love to see him again, though it will be easier to see Failure during the next tour. Love!
