I always squint and my new glasses are always lousy to look through. Makes sense not to squint. Idkw my doctor never told me that.

I have dry eyes and it worsens my anxiety. Any advice? I would appreciate it

On the Q2, I wore my 1.5 reading glasses and it was perfect. Tried this on the Q3 and very blurred! Looks like the focal distance is different on the 3. I use my Q3 without reading glasses

Even in my 20s when ophthalmologists played around with different prescriptions in each eye it drove me nuts. My brain just couldn’t handle much disparity between eyes. I tried one set of multifocals and it didn’t work out so I thought that option was out. Didn’t realize there are tweaks that can be made within multifocals. Currently trying to get by with readers and it’s a huge pain. I’m finding I need the readers almost constantly as I switch from far to near so often. When I don’t have them at hand the mild disorientation from being fuzzy up close is really unsettling.

I have a false lens in my right eye (after a traumatic cataract) , fixed for distance, my glasses for the right eye are varifocal so I can look down to read close up and look up for clear distance, I have a slight stigmatism in my right eye which is also corrected by the glasses. I seem to be able to see ok in my Quest 2 as my glasses don't fit inside anyway, whereas my Rift S could accommodate my glasses, which made removing the headset to do things easier because I didn't have to put glasses on after taking off the headset. Now saying that, apart from it was more convenient in the Rift S to wear glasses, there was little to no difference without glasses. Going back to the Quest 2, it has all the usual Quest 2 issues small sweeet spot and blurry around the edges. I could easily change to a Quest 3, which, sorry, eventually brings me to the question, given my personal prescription described above, should I wear my glasses in a Quest 3 or not? Or get prescription inserts? Sorry for the essay.

Yeah, don't "wet" your plunger or any of your lens/supplies with tap water. Use saline.

2:12AM These help quite a bit. ...and i do nit feel them at all. I can onky tolerate dissolvable plugs. Permanent plugs were out in i went home, started getting severe stabbing pains. Dissolving plugs dissolve over 3 months.

I’m a bit sus that the “steady stream rinse” is so they can sell us more solution.

My eye twitching goes on for weeks and months. It's often due to lack of proper sleep and stress or too much screen time. It usually goes away after catching up on my sleep band reducing my stress. I will definitely try tonic water because the twitching is creepy and annoying.

Hi Doctor. Wheare are you located?. I started with double vision 4 years ago. I saw 7 doctors. I had MRI. I try prism glases and nothing works. Nobody can give me and answer about what's causing my double vision. They said is not misalignment of the eyes. I don't know what else to do.

I’m not a doctor, but try this. Get shitfaced. When you close one eye so you only see one wife yelling at you for something that is definitely not your fault… the open eye is your dominant eye. Or the only one you can trust when the shit hits the fan.

Applying castor oil on eyes before is the best remedy

I’ve been wearing Multifocal for about a year but still need to wear readers to see crisp due to the compromise. I tried wearing a multifocal in one eye and nothing in the other and works well. Then I tried wearing a regular near sided lens and also works well. Is it okay to just wear one lens like that? I’ve never tried monovision with one contact for near and the other eye for far.

I got the reloplix and was very disappointed. They would touch my eyebrows and my nose. They also have a gap between the headset and the prescription making dust and whatnot get underneath it.

I suffered from dry eye symptoms prior to my cataract surgery. I had plugs put into the drainage holes of both eyes on lower eyelids. I still suffer from dry eye after cataract surgery even more than before. Although my vision improved slightly after surgery, I had a film that hindered my vision beginning roughly 6 months after surgery. I found out last week (nearly 5 years after surgery) that I now have PCO which should be a quick fix to clear up my vision with YAG laser. Not sure I would have had cataract surgery if I had known all of this beforehand. Thanks for the videos you do. Lots of good info.
