When you rung the tree with the smaller saw you should have cut a starter slot in the middle. Then you can put the chain brake on, pick the bar up in 1 hand and the saw in the other and slide it in the starter slot.

If you’re getting cavitation noise at the top of your stroke, it’s probably because your pumps cavitating because you don’t have enough fluid. Maybe the reservoir is too small? It takes more fluid to push an unbalanced actuator out and then in.

how many limbs I dragged from the back of a lot to the chipper. had a guy who'd call me up when he needed an extra ground guy. glad it was part time. then at the end of the day you'd have to wheel the big rounds to the trailer. glad it was once in awhile. bein a retired frame carpenter who hadn't worked in 10 years I thought I was tough.
