A fight for the nest box between the jackdaws.
Boy that one chick is mighty pushy and demanding. Jumping up in that Mother bird's face.
Like humans, not every female should be a "mother". Nature keeps a much better balance than Humans by far!
Did the little fighter die??
Awesome falco Tinninculus ❤❤❤❤
The littlest of babies are often overlooked in the huddle with the bigger siblings. They most often end up the last and least to get food. They die of starvation and end up getting fed to the same bigger siblings. Nothing is wasted in nature but it's still unfortunate and cruel.
Fantastic channel
MOM, SUPPER IS STILL MOVING!!!!
....
En 6 días morirán dos ¡que tristeza! 😢😢😢
Today is a good day, mom came back and they had a good meal.
How ugly...
I always watch backwards!! 😅
Interesting story...
No sound?
That bird took a s*** on the camera
That damn bird reminded me of the Komodo dragon
Those smaller two babies aren’t getting much to eat. Mom needs to distribute food more evenly. I hope the youngest ones also survive. 🙏
Any new videos for kestrels?
What country is this in?
The elder birds are using planned blocking moves, it seems to me, to keep the smallest and, I think, dumbest chick from getting food. It will starve and they will eat their sibling. That’s nature both raw and real.
Gets a bit confusing, all the back and forth at the food deliveries.
It us not survival of the fittest as all were equally fit when hatched. The difference was time hatched, eggs were laid so far apart that the first hatched get to be so much bigger, and if you can't reach the beak with the food, you don't eat. It's the chicks who decide who eats. Look at this FMH freakin' mad house here. It's what they've been doin' for thousands times thousands of years and we're now seeing more of the innermost workings and has been a shock, mostly to the general public, but an education of reality, and most interesting in many ways even with the drama. Thank you for all the work done and the investment of time and $$ necessary to do this. Lets see where the future takes us.
Too young to be able to tear the prey apart to eat.
Never seen a kestrel behave this way, they eat like an owl. Chicks are so aggressive when the food arrives, all these behaviours doesn't suit those Kestrel I used to watch.. what a sight!
Here I am yelling at the mouse "You got it buddy! Run,roll, anything! Get outta there!"
Hermosos bebés
They're CHICKS not babies Babies, not babys.
Sometimes human intervention is necessary
There aren't cameras on nests everywhere in nature and unfortunately it's always the weaker chicks that die because they can't compete with their siblings to get food. But one could have intervened here.
Yes, intervention is often resorted to, to help preserve an endangered species. Any other plentiful species in numbers are left alone to the mercy of nature as it has always been.
Armer kleiner vogel
Poor mice… moving and spazzing bc its barely alive
Very good video New friend +1 Hello Have a nice day full watching
This is Nature. Only the Strongest survive.
Somebody needs to clean the nest box asap. Birds aren't usually filthy such as these chicks. Yes, they're white so dirt does show more
Heart be still. What I know is coming for this little chick
the little one always miss😅
WHY DOES YOUR VIDEOS NOT HAVE ANY SOUND?
Peregrine falcons feed all the chicks. This kestrel mother is a disorganized feeder or a young mother.
Whenever I see a video on Krestel chicks feeding, I couldn't help but pay particular attention to the smallest chick. I would notice how difficult the smallest chick fights very hard to get itself fed. At times. I do observe how little food this smallest chick has managed to get. In some videos, I could see the smallest chick disappears from the video before it could grow new feathers. When I see this, I wish I could intervene and feed this poor chick. I know the cameraman will not intervene since what he wants to record is the true nature and life cycle of the falcon.
It's the dumb birds own fault. They shouldn't have 5 chicks per clutch. Can you imagine if humans had 5 kids every year?
@@butmunchass What a stupid comparison
Why is it a stupid comparison. Birds don't need to have that many chicks. It's because of evolution I know because it's better to have more chicks even if some starve evolution wise but it's bad for animal well being.@@thomasmuellerkohsamui
❤🎉 Thanks @Kestrel for keeping the archive public! May the fledglings live long lives 🙏
