Kestrel nest 2023-06-07

We see more and more often that the prey gets deliverd by the parents and that the young work it inside themselves. This is happening at a rapid pace so I will miss a few. But we can say that there is enough to eat. There is also an attempt to tear the prey apart, but that seems to require a little too much force. They are also already doing their wing excersices.

We zien steeds vaker dat de prooi afgegeven wordt en dat de jongen het zelf naar binnen werken. Dit gaat in een rap tempo dus ik zal ook wel eens een paar missen. Maar we kunnen wel stellen dat er voldoende te eten is. Er wordt ook al geprobeerd om de prooi in stukken te scheuren maar dat lijkt nog iets te veel kracht te vergen. Ook worden de vleugeltjes al getraind.
