The 370z has come a long way! Lots of stuff covered in this video, most importantly the dogbox! The GSR G force transmission is used in a bunch of pro level drift cars so I wanted to see if we could pull it off. It is actually not that hard, just expensive lol that first shift makes it all worth it though, no more missing gears in competition finally!!!

With the initial set up and sanity check of any new build out of the way, it was time to do the fine tuning! The results will probably surprise you like did to me! On this episode, we go into some details on how the car was built and finish it off with a successful dyno session! Everything was working flawlessly from the fuel system all the way to the ECU based boost control.

With almost 470whp and 506tflbs of torque, we may have set a stock turbo horsepower record!!! Even after chatting with Racebox about how the dyno reads and referencing stock baseline numbers, he believes this is valid! This car in particular has ONLY an exhaust and tune by us. We also believe the engines low mileage and health to be a big part of the results we achieved. Thanks for watching!

When I installed mine the clock spring was making a clicking sound when turning the wheel, also I had to cut that connector on the bottom right of the clock spring to make it fit. Note I have the eBay hub adapter, did you run into this issue?

Im using this kit for a 350z 3.7L HR build. Your results got me pumped to get my project going . I hope the lack of vvel wont prevent getting similar results. What clutch is holding all that torque ?
VVEL is pretty important for tuning on these engines. It's a twin disc OS giken

370z trans. No issues at all, but i also have a lot of experience tuning swapped cars

Awesome build! Q50 are modern Japanese Crown Vics. Can you please make a video about manual swap itself? I currently own 14 370z 6mt, would be nice to have more comfortable car and with g37 4dr 6mt in $15k range for a clean one q50 with stick makes a good proposition 😊

That’s way too much horsepower and torque for just a 7lb spring and a boost controller
15psi in the midrange and 12psi at redline. I'm using the stock ecu to drive a 3 port solenoid :)

What would you recommend being done as for as turbo preparation, for this kit? Saw it on your website I’d prefer a bottom mount kit like this over a top mount. So this has my eye for sure.
Not really any prep work, turbo'ing a Z is best done all at once to save time and money

Yep yep, ECU is in charge of the tach and coolant temp, which is all i really care to see anyways lol
