Scotto is really great until I needed her to be great. So disappointing to her her belt out a high 'C' sharp instead of the high 'C' in the magnificent duet. Oh, well...

Nice to see Italo Tajo. I was introduced to him in the lobby of the Met in the first intermission of the opening performance of the 1980 Manon Lescaut - starring Scotto and Domingo. Tajo told me the second act set of Manon was the most beautiful he'd ever seen Five days later I saw Moldoveanu in Don Carlos. In Edmonton I sang the Old Gypsy and chorus in a Trovatore with Berini. She hated the cold and while driving her to her hotel after a rehearsal she showed us she was wearing 3 pairs of stockings! Haha!

Buon giorno la potenza vocale non è tutto è una piccola parte indubbiamente è una grande voce ma Caruso Beniamino Gigli e altri l'ho sovrastano comunque Corelli di più ha solo il fisico anche Mari del Monaco ha più qualità di Corelli e anche prestanza fisica buona vita

Franco Corelli è stato un grandissimo tenore con una notevole capacità di calarsi nei personaggi che interpretava. Era anche un buon attore è un bellissimo uomo.

Dopo che ascolti Corelli, in un'aria simile poi, non hai più null'altro da ascoltare.
