There’s a plug on the side of the block just above where the oil filter screws into. If you remove that plug, you can test the oil pressure from there. If you have good oil pressure, then oil will go from there up to the cam bearings and oil ports. Lacking oil at the rockers would be in this area, bad cam bearings, plugged or partially plugged ports.

Also i like napa oil filters. Most of napas oil filters are psi rated correctly.

Maybe re add the oil cooler because the pass thru may go to the rocker passages.

Having it that high gives you a big advantage for rivera crossing

Now another pointer when you are going to buy a used engine only buy it if you can see what vehicle it came out of. Reason for that is you run the vehicle vin with car fax you can verify mileage -view last oil changes ect. Obviously not everything will be documented for service if they did their own work like me and many others but it will show the last odometer reading from recent inspection . I just looked at 25 different engines only 2 of them were legit or close to legit . Some advertised as 103k miles so I ran vin and they were 381k miles. All the older Chevy-gmc Yukons tahoes silverados you can swap instrument clusters from vehicle to vehicle and it works. So you can buy a brand new cluster online with zero miles plug it in and you will show zero miles on odometer. That’s how those guys are selling Yukons with 125k but really have 350k on them . Many crooks out there

I just got screwed on a Yukon xl I bought off eBay. Came off the hauler with low oil pressure. When I dropped the oil pan hood amount of metal -new pick up tube oring and oil pump already installed . Seller swears it wasn’t like that when it left so the truck driver hauling it must of been bored and decided to put new oil pump -oring and gasket in lol. I’ve proved to seller with video and photo evidence then I have less then 15 miles on vehicle and evidence of engine damage and that somebody already in there trying to fix oil pressure issues. He offered to give me $250 return and then another $250 after I left good review. I choose to leave bad review instead

Got 2 early gen Snipers (2017) and got tons of issues. No matter what I was doing, each new start was different. Often way too rich. Short story: after I have done 20000000 checks, swapped them on same car, replaced o2's, pressured exhaust for least, secured injectors, redone/reset etc... I have decided to remove the internal regulator and replace it with an external one. Boom! problems fixed! It was rich no matter the settings because according to pressure check, the regulator allowed 70+psi vs the 59.5. When I removed the regulators on both units, it was obvious the little membrane supposed to be secured, fuel tight was very loose explaining the diff for every ride. This chinese 32buxx 3ways regulator fixed everything. They changed the design, as i see on yours, but I bet the problem remains. Spare yourself future headaches and install a regulator! Oh and avoid the 180buxx regulator that they sale. I was able to compare and even down to the membrane they are exactly the same. The diff lays in the an6 fittings, which I replaced as the chinese one were clearly visibly not to be trusted. That's in no way explaining the high cost of that regulator and only shows once more how greedy Holley has become.

My O 2 sensors do not match the harness. Will the engine start without the O2 sensors plugged in. Really enjoyed your video.

Personally I put a LT swap with the ECU like a 6.0. Nothing crazy just a junkyard motor out of a 1500 or 2500 HD. Auto trans and motor basically pull a whole harness and drivetrain from a donor. Make it a beautiful dependable daily that you would not hesitate to drive cross-country if need be also it will be fairly decent on fuel

Came with a two-barrel motorcraft with only 351 CFM but like some people including me I did put a four-barrel 600 CFM on my 302 and hooker headers (tight fit and a little bit of work)and new exhaust/glass packs,it did pretty good!

Well admitting your an idiot and lazy is a step but a small one. If you blown 2 engines in a year it seems like acknowledging it is not enough. To no longer be an idiot one has to actually change their behavior. Imagine you had your kids in the car and you were stranded all because you never do basic maintenance on you car. They must've had a parts truck I knew it was a 6.2 diesel way before it was mentioned I saw the bezel above the speedo / fuel gauge for the wait light / water in fuel light , the 6 2 diesel is a good engine and it can be turbo charged , I have the military version and it's been trouble free
