Watch As A 40-year-old Mom Gives Up Everything To Embrace Slow Living
I made this video a while back when I had fully decided to completely blow up my career in pursuit of my ambition to live a slower and more intentional life. Rocco is 6 and it hurts my heart to watch it because he is growing up so fast. The working title for this peace was going to be “make home made bread butter and jam with me as I have a midlife crisis”, but it felt too confusing for the CZcams algorithm.
I filmed this chapter when I finally bit the bullet and decided to formalise stepping down from my business. I was only a few modules in to my new photography course and starting to off board my clients weekly. I was honestly failing at slow living.Living a creative quite life must be done with intention and I could not mother, work full time on my business, keep house and retrain all at once. Something needed to change if I wanted to lean in to slow motherhood, mindful living and living simply.
Whenever im going through it, you better believe that I will roll my sleeves up and cook. It’s my own mindfulness tool. So this week I share with you my quite life endeavours and show you how to make a low sugar natural home made jam, as well as your own homemade butter and a trusty wholemeal loaf.

    Grey area drinking is something I identify with. I think a lot of people won’t give up drinking because they feel like “I’ll be labeled an alcoholic” or because unless something catastrophic happens they don’t have a real reason to give it up. I quit booze over 3 months ago and am now just a person who doesn’t drink. Nobody cares! I feel great. It’s literally poison guys. If you feel you are drinking too much or it doesn’t feel right for any reason, that’s a good enough reason to stop. Thanks for this video!!

    Love me some reverse dieting. With Cee Fee’s guidance I got myself up to 2,600 calories a day whilst maintaining weight loss (disclaimer, I am pretty tall and reasonably active, but still, literally couldn’t eat that much food and MAINTAINED WEIGHT LOSS).

    Dieting does NOT have to be painful - You also don't need to live your life on a diet or diet hoping... But you MAY need to do something to actively negate the effects of the last 10 years of trying to follow - unsuccessfully- a bunch of shit diets.     Honestly CeeFee, even though I am plagued with Covid, your videos still manage to hit every single nail on the head. Have I become an emotional binge eater - yes. Was I consuming a pack of Bourbons whilst watching that particular part of the video - also yes. Do I feel horrible for it - jurys out as it could just be the covid 😂 I'm about to start a fat loss deficit phase with my Husband under the guide of a local PT who runs the crossfit box (he does have nutritional quals) but...if by September things are a bit stagnant, or it's not working out well....then i'm all yours. 👍

I have had countless PTS, bought into the Joe Wickes thing years ago, internittebtbfasted, eaten paleo - which all stopped since I met and worked with Cee Fee at the start of lockdown and during 2020. Two and a half years on and I have all the tools to manage my weight whilst eating all the foods - and I’m going to work with her again in October now I’m ready to leap into putting on some muscle!
