New gadget in my studio!. I have several tripods and gadgets to assist as I learn more and more about recording my videos. I found this nice one on Amazon, the reviews are fair enough and decided to try, very affordable and for my big surprise it is more steady than any other one that I currently use. It’s a good start with this new tool and I am definitely very happy with this purchase.

sorry to say but u r a disaster . instead using the long part of the key u squeezze urself with short part of it ..ooof ure great master
Thank for your content!! May i ask you what does fs mean?? And this process doesnt hurt the die??😊
Love love love these.
Thank you for the review. May I ask if the ring holder rotates as well or sticks kn the same face/position? I mean for full stone setting rings.
The ring holder stays in place, if you need to rotate it, you have to turn the handle on the side to rotate it manually, then close it again . It will move a little while setting depending on the force you apply. Hope this helps :) Thank you
Thank you

Use the long end of the hex key…..much faster…and easier…😉
🤔
I understand, I honestly used an hex key so long ago & I was only really worried about putting it together, but as you see I made it! , LOL. I certainly KNOW WHAT THE MICROBLOCK IS FOR, I use it and it is useful. It seems that the way I used the hex key annoys viewers, but hey, it is not a lesson on How to Use an Hex Key, it is Only about me purchasing a Mini Microblock and showing the item. Thank you anyway, and who knows when I will use an hex key again, but ill use the long end for sure! 😂😂😂
@@ihivara If your face of concern is the Hex Key do not even worry, it was not a lesson on how to use the hex key, because certainly I did not know how to use it but, in the end I assembled the Micro Block for the viewers to see what it looked like , that was the point. Thanks
@@frommybenchpin5717 Don't worry. But the first thing that came to my mind was a hex key. Good luck to you 🤝
I put silica gel sachets in with things to reduce moisture.
Yes, that is good preventive measure. I do have these everywhere I need them. Thank you for your comment ⭐️
I have the jewlers vice that's just a little bigger then this one with the black seat. I love it! It turned out way better then I expected
So glad you have had a good experience. I was really impressed with it and I use it all the time. I have small hands and it’s a breeze when setting stones. Thank you for your comment.
I'm looking for a good economy rolling mill.
Look for Mekkisupplies on ETSY, they are in New Delhi but ship worldwide. I’ve heard good things about them, but I have not purchased anything yet. I believe they have affordable prices.
I was wondering if the “Alexia”attachment will fit my Grs Microblock???
Yes it will, It goes on top. Hope this helps ✅

Que porquería de video. Aburrido 😒 por eso ni suscriptores hay. 🤣🤣🤣
Is it supposed to lift out of the base? I have this one and it doesn’t stay in the base nor are there screws to hold it to the white base. Ty
The plastic base is only a support to hold the ball and it rotates to the position you hold it, it does not screw.
Did you find it difficult to work without having the white base secured?
@@nineamulets7689Not at all, you constantly need to move the ball around to do the setting work, so to have constant rotation makes sense in a way. If you want a more secure one, or a tool with less motion, there is the GRS vise available, also using a small standard vice is another alternative. It depends what you are looking for, or feel comfortable using. I hope this helps. Sorry for the late reply.
@@nineamulets7689 Yes i did, mostly i fabricate small jewelry and this vise is just right for that kind of work. I do use a regular vice that I bought at home depot to hold bigger things, and protect the jaws with copper sheet and leather while working. But yes, this small ball vise is just right for setting or working on small pieces of jewelry, plus you can hold it tight while working because it fits in your hand. :) Hope this helps
Hello, thank you very much for sharing this gorgios crowning. I can't wait to see further ring tutorials from you. Stay safe and have a good time. Greetings from Germany
Thank you! 😊I appreciate your comments very much.
Hello, I'm new at your channel and found already some very good advices to do my work better. I would like to make these curled rings of your video. Can you make a tutorial of this🙈🙈🙈. I like that you explain very exactly and tell the measurements of the used material. Sorry for my bad English. Greetings from Germany
I will for sure make a video explaining the process in the making of these rings, I am glad to help, and that the tutorials facilitate your fabrication in one way or the other. thank you for your nice comments.
Another way is to use a miter vise. I use it instead of a tube cutter and it works for tiny pieces perfectly. I've seen the wooden dowel rods used to cut jump rings too. It always helps to learn different ways to do the same thing and pick what works best for you. Thanks so much for sharing your tips!
Exactly, that would help as well. thank you for your tip!
Nice ring. Some thoughts and suggestions. Be sure to wear respiratory protection such as a N100 mask when grinding, sanding or buffing either on a bench lathe or when using abrasive wheels such as those spiders. Silica particles fly everywhere even if your machine has filtration or you are wet sanding. Also it's dangerous to wear gloves when using power equipment as they can snag and pull your hands into and around the wheel. A better method is to use leather finger cots that protect the fingers from heat but if snagged will easily side off you fingers rather than pull them into the machine. Finally a problem with using rotary wheels along their circumference to polish flat surfaces is that this causes ripple marks. I went over 40 years without discovering that the best and fastest way to polish flat surfaces is to get a hard felt wheel and run the metal against the side of the wheel turning the piece back and forth 90 degrees. This is called lapping
Thank you very much for all the advice , we really never stop learning, I do use many of the things you mention but for videos not much. One more thank you for liking the ring! I love hearts.
an even faster method is to chuck up your dowel in a #30 handpiece and turn it into a mini lathe. run the tube that is fixed on the dowel as you did in the video, but run the edge against a file. Be sure the rotation of the tube is going towards the cutting side of the file. It might be necessary to stabilize the dowel between your fingers. Move the file back and forth slowly against the tube as it's turning so as to introduce new unclogged teeth. This works even better if you have enough tubing length to put directly in the chuck.
I see, very interesting. I’ll try it next time 🙌🏻

Hi, thank you for your video about making those hoops. I really liked it. Can you also make a video with hoops where the hooks go into the tubes of the hoop. Or can you tell me how ro make them?
Thank you so much, and yes I will make a video and teach how to do the hoops with tubing and the wire going into the tubing. I’ll be posting much more tutorials. :)I am happy to help
I’m just wondering about the part where you form the ear wire after soldering on the loops etc. - Is it better to form them with the pliers as you’re doing, or is it okay to form them around something round like a sharpie or maybe a bezel mandrel? Is your way better because you are work-hardening them as you shape them?
Hi Kristen, you absolutely can use a sharpie or any small mandrel to shape the hook. I just do it that way. The wire has already been hardened when it was drawn. I’m glad you enjoy. Ask anything, I will always help.
@@frommybenchpin5717 Great! Thanks so much - that’s really helpful! One more question - I know I already asked you this question on your Instagram account but I just wanted to be sure.... Can you please make a quick little tutorial of the peace ☮️ jewelry I’ve seen you make? I think it’s probably very simple and self-explanatory but I’m not positive about what steps and techniques I’m imagining to fabricate some for my own designs. I’m thinking I would do the following: 1) form and solder a ring; 2) measure and cut wire for the 3 straight pieces for the inner parts; 3) file all of the pieces; 4) solder those 3 pieces that you’ve arranged in the shape of a peace sign (Do I cut 3 pieces - 1 longer and 2 shorter OR do I cut 2 pieces and just bend one piece in half to form a triangle? Which method do you use?). Then of course, I would sand everything and polish. Would this be all there is to do to make the peace sign?
Thanks for the upload, keep up the good work!! You deserve way more subscribers! Did you ever check SMZeus . c o m!?? You should use it to promote your videos!
