I don’t advise any tourist to come to South Sudan. I am South Sudanese and I am being honest with you. If you do come for business or any other reason other than tourism please listen carefully to the instructions given by this CZcamsr because he was spot on. I know someone will comment and say how dear you say that about your country and where is the patriotism and what not but all I can tell that person is you’re being selfish and hollow minded and don’t let your pride or ego or ignorance take precedence over reasoning. I’d rather help someone keep safe than lie to them in the name of patriotism and love for a country.

My dad had a PA22 150 HP in the 1980s (in the UK), flew with him many times, once down to France, Switzerland and through the Alps to Itay. Lovely little aircraft with good short field performance with two up. Thanks for sharing this video brings back many happy memories.

Outstanding Video

I love the splendid old trees surrounding these ruins. I would like to see them in the light of a full moon.

South Sudan, though the latest new country, is not that much dangerous country. Country being the newest and the govt not being the stable the local people in this country are facing hardships of employments, deprived of basic needs like education, health and other daily needs. The soil is so much porous and cultivable. But the problem is most of the people are getting food from the UN funded agencies and they are getting food without being paid. So, this tradition of getting food from the FAO or other agencies is making the locals lazy. Sudanese people are very good though being burdened with poverty.

The various plans for this Morris Island Light wii, DEFINITELY, make you shake your head. One plan was to make the surrounding area into a subdivision. Another was to make the light a tourist attraction. From what I've been told, the current in that is VERY DANGEROUS!! A tour boat would catch hell trying to dock, and stay anchored at that dock. Another plan was to restore the light. A late reporter that I knew from the Post and Courier told me that the interior had rotted away, and, was now, an outdoor privy for birds and bats.😮😮😮😮

It's only been in the last few years that WHOMEVER cleared the overgrowth on Castle Pinckney. Until then, by viewing it from, or, a observation point , it looked like A BIG GREEN MOUND. I have pictures of when it was used as a Union POW camp after First Bull Run(Manassas). Always amazed me what used to be under that mound.😮😮😮😮

I recognized Lake Madison right away. I was a counter sniper at that airport when a President visited and was just off the runway where you turned to take off. Pretty cool to see the area again!

When I was in flight training in Canada way back a long time ago, I did my required x country in a Tri pacer. From St. John N.B. Canada to Sydney N.S and back via Summerside P.E.I. My training was in a tail dragger, a Fleet 80.

Poinsett bridge is named after Joel Roberts Poinsett of Charleston SC who was first Minister to Mexico, Chile and Argentina and who had dealings in Peru. The Christmas Poinsettia is named after him which he brought back from Mexico.

Poinsett bridge is not the oldest bridge. It's the oldest still standing.
