I know this was a long time ago but can you remember if the noise was happening when the car was in neutral? I have a similar noise but it goes away when in neutral or when I have the clutch pedal pressed in. Amazing video and impressive work

Am getting mad at the used car I bought.. after driving it for a month,it slips to neutral when driving it.its a Toyota auris semi automatic 07. I changed the fluid and it was normal. After some days , it happened again. I will need to off and on the car before it will engage again in the middle of the road. Am Even scared to drive it now. I took it to the mechanic and he checked and said he can't find anything 😢 that I should keep on driving it and if it occurs again I should bring it.

Hi, this is very late in 2024 and I don't know if anyone is still watching this. But I want to say that changing the gears may not fix an EGR fault. I just asked a mechanic to do exactly this video for an old skoda superb with EGR fault. And while the gears were stripped and the new ones fitted, the EGR valve movements were still being stuck at a certain position. The mechanic thinks some kind of internal blockage or build up or something else that is not visible when you take it out that is stopping the full range of movements. And he thinks the stripped gears in my EGR was not the root cause of the fault, but a symptom as it became harder and harder to move the valves. The motor checks out. So while your video was informative and I thank you for it. I just want to add that there is a chance that sadly replacing the gears won't solve the problem and you just won't know until you take it out..

Stay away from from hybrid garbage. Get an old gas guzzler. This trash is meant to take a shit so that you have to buy a new one. They make cars the same way they do everything else now. It’s designed to take a shit to make you buy something new. They don’t make money anymore on cars that last forever like the old stuff.

Hi, did you found the cause of this? I have a Skoda Fabia 3 1.4 tdi and i had the bolt broken, 2 injectors out on the highway. I got the bolt drilled out and injectors put back at a service. The car seems to work for the moment, it passed 1 week, but now im afraid to make long trips with my car. People from auto service say they cant tell the reason why the bolt broke. The car have 215k km

After coding you just need to force the reboot of the radio holding radio and setup button and AUX function will appear

So I changed the boot lock and from the roof not doing anything it now opens halfway and then stops l. The drivers side side flap doesn't lift up but the other passenger side does. Anyone have any ideas on why this is happening?

My Octavia 3 1.6TDI developed the same problem 7 years ago but i never bothered to change it until last week when fluid leaked into the foot wells. Without inspecting the core i ordered a replacement and was sent the very same one you have in this video. Turns out the one in the car is smaller and has 2 pipes protruding from it. A lengthy search revealed it was the same as that used on an Audi TT. Eventually got the part minus "O" rings which i sourced locally. Removal & fitting slightly more involved that this but got it done and there is now heating once more.

To check the Signal wire, would it be OK to probe with a ground signal (ground to signal)?

It’s alominum you don’t need drilling, the broken piece is sitting loose there , just use the snapped nut to unscrew the bolt from head or screw driver.
