Sadly this game is still very buggy on pc. Had to set affinity to one cpu processor for the game to load past the breach chapter. Because of the bugs i Ended up fighting Tk at level 25..... the fight was really rough and even worse whenever you tried to heal rebecca it would sometimes just randomly stop and make you jump. just ended up jump kicking alot and got kinda good at dodging his pain in the ass attacks. Went from loving this game to hating it at the end

Besides the newer game modes in BF2 (2005) like Capture the Flag, Assault, and Space Battles, and a better Campaign, with a more flashed out Galactic Conquest, I still prefer the original.

Fun fact, World Brothers implies that the EDF 5 Air Raider you play in that game is the son of the wacko Spritefall lady.

Barnaby should have come back as some sort of zombie The Hulk and told people to get out of his swamp. That's respecting the original game lore. Also as an aside I thought Calder was going to be some giant thing and then he's just dude in a suit.

EDF6 is my first EDF, people aren't lying when they say it's a marathon and not a sprint. It is very hard to play this game for hours on end, but the slow power creep keeps you coming back. It's been super satisfying .

I’m about 70 levels in and I’ve ONLY used Air Raider. I used Ranger twice in the beginning, and I haven’t touched Wing Diver or Fencer yet. I wanna beat the game with Air Raider first! That dude has come to LIFE!

While I disagree with your overall opinion in preferring L4D1's gameplay, you made a good case for your argument that I can't necessarily disagree with. A lot of the l4d2 weapons were certainly unbalanced looking back on it, and it would be better for every weapon to fit a specific niche rather than having a plethora of meaningless options.

My brother and I gave up on The Last Stand 2. The sudden appearance of the Kings and Queens broke us.

Taking a melee weapon and a shield isn't really sacrificing much offense for mobility. The spears are mostly fantastic, my favourite is the blasthole spear as it does big damage and perices so it'd great for crowd control or big enemies like hectors. And the shield reflect pretty much makes basic enemies (and the spider kings) instantly kill themselves if timed right. Shield and spear has been the meta for over 5000 years, and it will continue to be the meta.

I'm so glad prowl rider got put into world bros so I can play prowl rider in a game that's actually fun. I would really love a mainline edf game with character customization and maybe a ranger equipment or wing diver jetpack that gives them the prowl rider hooks.

Valve should've never absorbed l4d1 into l4d2. It deserved to stay as its own thing. Playing l4d1 campaigns with chargers, spitters & jockeys with the ammo types and all the new weapons isnt how the maps were designed to be played with.
