We Go Deep Underground
Hi, we are reposting this video as we have had a lot of new subscribers and thought they would also enjoy this. Have a great weekend 😊
Visiting Inglebrough secret cave, 450 million year old for today’s Underground Adventure walking tour.
Ingleborough Cave is a show cave close to the village of Clapham in North Yorkshire, England, adjacent to where the water from Gaping Gill resurges. That part of the cave that is open to the public follows a fossil gallery for some 500 metres. The passage is spacious, and well decorated with stalagmitic formations.
It was first discovered in 1837 by brave Victorian explorers who drained away a lake and went on to discover 1/2km of previously unexplored passages delving deep beneath Ingleborough mountain, with only candles to guide them!

Stayed on primrose valley this year last week in June. Booked a private owner van with our dog. The van was like home from home . Owner used their own contract cleaners not haven. Same previous year booked another private owned van owners said they cleaned it themselves has haven staff did not do a good job.
That makes sense. No wonder they get their own cleaners in 👍🏻
I love those "living" museums! It's so cool to see how things were in the good ol' days, I can picture my grandparents living in those times and using some of those items. Thanks for taking us along, I really enjoyed the trip! Have a great week!😊❤
Thanks Derek. Glad ya enjoyed 🙌🏼😊😊
Scarborough has had it really just like the rest of England ..I need to say no more we all know who ….💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩
👀
People are moving to Scarborough and then moving away again due to it been NOT a very nice place to live , sorry to say but they aren’t wrong . Only some areas not all . Seamer road will be carnage in the next few weeks as the gas board are and will be digging more holes and slowing down traffic as usual , AVOID SEAMER ROAD INTO SCARBOROUGH AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS …..

I wish you really could take us all back to the good ol’ days. I’m not liking the current ones so much, lol. I like your traveling videos, and I love Poppy, but I miss the mudlarking. Are you not mudlarking at all anymore? You know what I went through with that “Victorian” chap trying to steal $250 from me and then K&C failed to come through with their promised Patreon rewards. I waited for weeks before I messaged them but they never answered and I never received anything and now I notice they’re suddenly no longer offering “rewards”. I’m disappointed but I’m unsubbed and over it. Is the mudlarking world as problematic as it seems? Is that why you aren’t doing it anymore?
Hi, I’m not aware of the Victorian Mudlark 250 from you, that’s terrible, as for K&C I have no idea about that either. Sorry to hear you have had problems like this. We posted why we are no longer Mudlarking, due to Collette being diabetic, it’s not safe to be walking over old dumps with the potential of her getting a cut and being infected etc. we are so glad you are enjoying coming along with us on our trips 😊😊🙌🏼
@@LancashireLarksI told you about the Victorian on FB a year or so ago. I don’t expect you to know anything about K&C but people should be aware. I was certainly taken by surprise. I took a long CZcams hiatus so I must have missed the video about Collette’s diabetes. Is she Type I or Type II? I’m technically Type II but I’ve found a way of eating that completely controls it and once you get used to it, it’s not that hard. I lost 25 pounds and I’m no longer taking meds. I learned about low carb/high protein eating on a YT channel called Beat Diabetes. He’s a strange little man but what he says to do really does work.
@@kasarija hi, yes you did tell me, apologies, Collette remembered you telling us. I forget a lot of things. It’s a male thing. She’s type 2 and she has it under control thanks and has lost some weight herself 😊👍🏻
Hi nice video 👌👌
Thanks Roy 😊😊
They don't have roaring fires at christmas, a few years ago we took our children on the 23rd of December we have never been that cold in our entire lives. The only fire that was on was the one in the pub. We took our boys to see Santa they enjoyed that. I think it was a ploy by beamish for everyone to buy hot drinks to keep warm. I have to say though what a fantastic place to visit, my family and I have been there many times. The 1950's community centre is wonderful. I'm looking forward to visiting it again, you never get fed up of going back.😀😀
I have just recently found your channel, I love your videos. 😀

We had exactly the same attitude with the fish & chips at a Haven place. They were inedible & the fish was the size of a fish finger & hollow. Took them back for a refund & they thought it was funny. Never again.
Not good is it. Even worse when they ignore all the complaints. Never again
My late mam loved holidaying in Scarborough, she particularly loved peasholm park. 😀

Hurray! What an incredible place! Thank you both so much for taking us with you. Beamish truly put all the bits and bobs you two used to find into perspective, they really were a part of someone's daily life at one time. Fascinating place, great video!
Thank you so much Julianne, so glad we finally managed to upload for you 😊😊🙌🏼
Been with Haven for years and never had any problems that wernt sorted out to our satisfaction. One year we had unpacked and just had our meal and the manager came and asked us to move to another caravan. We did this without a fuss and had our weeks rental returned to us for our willing cooperation. Going to Norfolk for two weeks in September. Haven are an excellent company. ( I dont work for them)
Things must of changed since then days.
The Car Shop was used in filming for Downtown Abbey and the High Street Area was used many times in the dozens of Catherine Cookson dramas
Ohhh that’s good to know. Thanks Marie 😊😊👍🏻
Beamish is such a fab place , it’s come on leaps and bounds since I first went there as a child. I’ve watched it grow and improve every time I’ve visited over the years. Great video as always 👍

Serious question, are you going to heaven or hell. Hope your answer is heaven. The only way to heaven is through Jesus, who shed his blood on the cross for you ( for our sins ) was buried and rose on the third day, for whosoever believed in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Love and God bless you and your family x

Brid is worth staying at for more than a day imo if the weather is decent. You can spend a day on the south beach soaking up the sun then taking a walk south to the old military defences, such as pill boxes and anti-tank cubes etc. It's just nice to relax and get away from the amusements etc Another day could be spent walking or going on the land train north to Sewerby which has a model village. A walk along the cliffs takes you to Dane's Dyke and Flamborough. If you like wildlife, Bempton is nearby which has puffins and plenty of other seabirds breeding there for certain months of the year. Lastly, days can be spent heading to Filey, Scarborough, Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby. If you've a dog, there's certain areas of the beach they can go on, and they can go on the Yorkshire Belle for a cruise too.
@@EmsM4 brilliant, thanks 😊
The south beach is even better than the north. Beautifully soft and without the stones that you get on the north.
Thanks Ems 👍🏻

Stayed at several Haven sites around the UK. As someone has already said, It is just a place to eat and sleep unless you have kids and use the site facilities. Unfortunately a lot does depend on the site you choose. Some have caravans packed together and you can hear everything going on in your neighbours van. Other sites the parking is an issue especially when some holidaymakers turn up with two or more cars. At other sites l have used, there is a lack of staff. Generally the vans are clean, but l have experienced issues and now always take some floor wipes for the kitchen and bathroom areas. The remote tv controls are usual broken. Haven also money grab as you can't select the location of your van until you have paid for the holiday. They then send you an email saying choose your location but you will have to pay more. All these issues l have reported back to Haven over the last few years to no avail. So choose carefully which site you stay at and read reviews.
👍🏻👌
