I Trained like the Most Dangerous Racers in the World
The Isle of Man is considered the most dangerous race in the world. After interviewing a 2nd generation Isle of Man racer, I decided to see for myself: what would happen if a newb like me trained like an Isle of Man racer for 72 hours?

Interesting: finding out that the back hump is not a back protector and how countersteering works on a bike while "training for the TT"? Wow! A lot to learn there. Good thing you found out about a proper back protector before you crashed. Kudos to you for leaving your comfort zone and trying new things. Keep it on.
Hi, I like your blogs. I wanna ask, would you advice cruiser bikes for long trips? I'm a 60year old Filipino male rider. Tnx
The impressive one that was crazy was the fastest Triumph Daytona. It was very light and had crazy HP/TQ. The Daytona killed more novice riders than any other by percentage because riders would ride it like they were at Isle of Man on the street.
This bike is so powerful and have a higher cc engine that it's not even permitted here. 😂
The editing on this was so good! Loved the day 1 vs day 90 clip! Keep up the great work👍🏻
If you want to make a U turn, look at the spot you want to go to, not just in front of you. That might mean looking over your shoulder backwards during you turn. The bike will do the rest. You will making crazy tight turns in the end.

Hallo ! How about the reliability ? I have to choose between this bike and the cb650r...
You are short. Get over it. God assigns nothing more than you can handle.

Good video Doodle .

Great Doodle! 👍
I’m afraid to drop my bike (sport bike) even though I got frame sliders on and passengers pegs. Any tips or thoughts to get over that? Thx, great vid.
LMAO... it's a weekday and I didn't feel like pants... I'm not a girl. It's over 40deg with humidex. Pants are unnecessary.
Not only do they not see you, mostly telephone related, they think you can stop like a bicycle
Yes exactly, I learned watching rally races 30+ years. Slow is faster, those curves, no grip = makes slow. Better brake and drive slower little before curve and begin accelerate in curve, if not tight curve. Not too much or lost grip. Less tire touch ground with motorbike. Grip is even more important than with car. I am beginner look motorbike races.
Yes, I did know. I know because I owned a 2000 Blue/Silver "Unrestricted" Hayabusa from 2000 to 2006.
My niece has 4 million followers she makes huge money online
The long way around set the tone for motorcycle touring and it’s become a bit of a macho endurance thing. The only purpose for a road trip is to see what’s out there. If you ain’t seen it then you wasted your time and money. I did the NC500 on my 125cc Varadero with my Wife and son also on small bikes. Hundred mile days through stunning scenery allowed time to soak it in. Glorious.
When you ride parts of the course at the 50mph speed limit and then think that the racers are doing close to 200mph at the same points, that's a real eye opener!!
I plan trips based upon miles per day, because I ride for the ride, not the destination. However, the scenery along the ride is important for seeing the country is a better option than the interstate system.
Interesting that you lived in London, that's where I'm from. Whereabouts in London did you live ?
Great video. Subscribed.

As for negotiating and writing with these glaring ass headlights which are illegal in almost every state, you just do not have police officers who are right citations for glaring headlights. I see a lot of people driving around with their bright lights on get some good yellow tinted eyewear and wear them. They do cut down the glare into your eyes. The other thing that I first did when I got my last bike and that's been 15 years ago now. Was I put a yellow bulb in the headlight. It actually cast an actual yellow light. Halogen lights were not always off tinted. They used to actually be white. The reason they're off tinted now is because they're not being loaded with halogen like they were in the late 50s to the late 70s. I paid $110 for a set of headlights on my 1968 Plymouth Station wagon. It was really white light. Especially when compared to the sealed beams you had before. The reason I did that was because I had grown used to riding in cars that had good headlights on them because my parents drove a couple of Volvos and my dad had been buying headlights for his Chrysler products that were made by Ciebie. I remember driving down a road one time that had no lights on it at all and just with the standard lights on I could see 40 or 50 yards into the woods beside me. And it cast a shadow line so that you didn't blind on coming drivers. As for pickup trucks, for some reason these morons who designed these pickup trucks design the Highlight as the low beam. And it should be down around what most vehicles are at and cut across and cast light not above the level of the headlight. The low beams have to cast light onto the road. If you can't see the road in front of the vehicle your light isn't doing you any good . Just as an add-on, the yellow bulb on my motorcycle and even yellow LEDs in your headlights on your car will allow your eyes to see better than white light. Because blue light is hard to see which is why it's stressful on the eyes. The reason I know that is because when I was in basic training I had my sergeant get on me for wearing sunglasses and I pulled my prescription for being photosensitive out of my pocket and handed it to him and he handed it back and told me that he had never seen a recruit in the 17 years he'd been a drill sergeant that had a prescription for sunglasses. I have very sensitive eyes and even when I worked as a welder, amongst other professions, I protected my eyes well.
Can you make you aware of something in the law. Because stealing a motorcycle is technically a felony, not historically a felony but it is technically a felony. American citizens have the authority to enforce felonies. The only reason police officers have authorities is because they've been granted to them by the citizenry. Police officers do not have rights. Not a single one while they work as a police officer. They have certain limited Authority that's granted to them that is a bit greater than an average citizen. But in the case of felonies, you can affect and arrest. I'm not saying that that is wise, but it is legal. I've been teaching things like this, mostly as an adjunct to teaching Firearms since I was 14 years old, and that's been quite a while now almost 54 years now
When you lean out to look around the rider, It affects the riders ability to maneuver correctly. It throws the balance off.
You are still learning to be a better rider. All riders should strive to continue to improve. The learned still makes riding safer and more enjoyable.
Love it. I've never ridden on the track, but would really like to.
My trusty ‘17 XCa is dark blue, dust, mud, ‘n smashed bugs.
Here in England a figure 8 and tight U turn are part of the motorcycle test.
In car racing, you do the opposite, try to reduce the straights as much as possible, if you are driving the car in a straight line you lose time because you are not using the tires completely along the track, I didn't know which bike was different.
Every bike I ever bought over 50 years now has excited me more than anything
My friend had the early Busa. 2005 from memory.. he blew the engine up and after it was fixed and souped up he broke the gearbox.. however, the bike was repaired and he once was clocked at 347kph.. he let me ride it. I managed 302kph and he was disgusted with me. :P
A sales person told you you are too small for the bike???? That might as well be the dumbest sales person on earth and he should look for a different job…. 😂😂😂😂😂
👌👌✌
You forgot to mention about all the dumbasses who are texting while driving and who walk out in front of a motorcyclist while on their phone.
