It was fun listening to all the references to Michigan, since I grew up there. The name Gwen Frostig sure rang a bell, as I was in the teaching program at MSU and so I knew about her. I'm so glad you are all safe!! I'm also grateful for all the kindnesses that you received. Congrats on the design team position, it's well deserved! The Red journal is very lovely, as are all the things you do! I hope you find time soon to do the summer things you love. If not, come to Florida, where it's summer for about 9 months out of the year 😰. We're in the mid 90s, with "feels llike" temps of over 100, and it's super humid as well. I don't have AC, so I have lots of fans, which blow my paper crafting everywhere if I don't hold on tight before I can get them glued down 🙄🤣. Sending hugs and love from Fla. 💙

Your book is lovely, and as others have said, it is really touching and added to the authenticity that you told us about Irene and included pieces from her scrapbook. Miller to Miller: beautiful journal 🤩 I love this era and that you've so many great pieces in it. I'm a Michigander too. I have my grandmother's 1940s scrapbook and learned o much from it. Irene's handwriting and my grandma's look a lot alike, cool. I'm adding this to my "New Theme Thursday Heroes'" playlist. Not surprised it sold right away. Awesome.
