Gorgeous! It's so nice to see Irene honored in this way. I have a bracelet just like yours! My mom gave it to me several decades ago. Glad you are back!!

WOW - Masterfully done and soooo interesting. It’s wonderful that you looked up this woman’s history and I bet she’d be abashed that it’s celebrated in this way. How wonderful.

I love that you cared so much about the owner of the scrapbook that you told us about her as you did the flip through. Very touching. It's a lovely journal. I like the elegant look.

Outstanding! I love how authentic you were with the time period and how you used the lens of a person alive at the time. 👏

The journal is stunning!! I'm not surprised that it sold quickly. And you did a beautiful job of honoring Irene in the ways that you have used pieces from her scrapbook and shared things from her life.❤

Hi Sue, I stumbled across your channel watching journal flip-throughs today. Your book is lovely, and as others have said, it is really touching and added to the authenticity that you told us about Irene and included pieces from her scrapbook. I live in Muskegon also and enjoyed checking out a few of your other book videos - especially liked the Lake Michigan shoreline books! Subscribed and am looking forward to your future videos!

Miller to Miller: beautiful journal 🤩 I love this era and that you've so many great pieces in it. I'm a Michigander too. I have my grandmother's 1940s scrapbook and learned o much from it. Irene's handwriting and my grandma's look a lot alike, cool. I'm adding this to my "New Theme Thursday Heroes'" playlist. Not surprised it sold right away. Awesome.

It’s a gorgeous journal 😍 and I have enjoyed this video very much !… and I would really like to know if the flowers you applied throughout your journal can be purchased as digital anywhere ?

    • @millerslaboratory7954

Thanks, Christy! All of the flowers are from the Biodiversity Heritage Library on Flickr. I have downloaded the ones I like and keep them in a folder called "Sue's Fussy Cut Flowers". You could do the same thing. I lack the skills needed to clean them up to be sold as a digital - but maybe someday!
