Rode the Masca road a couple of times back in 1999. Loved stopping right on top where the ice cream van use to park The alternative route to Masca is via boat from Los Gigantes with a climb up from the shore

I’ve never wanted to ride bikes, never been interested in riding bikes, but can honestly say since seeing a advert for the Classic 350 a few months ago, I seriously want to learn to ride and one day hopefully save enough money to purchase a new Classic 350.

Glorious views, Dave! I was on a small group 120 km ride here in Perth yesterday; beautiful day, 26C (great,considering that it's still winter here!), but all basically suburbia, nothing like as attractive as those lanes that you were on.

I watched the Tony Robinson documentary on Robin Hood, and just about every county in England claims a bit of him. Rob Roy McGregor is a true rogue and his exploits are well documented and fascinating if you get away from Walter Scott's fantasy.

I’ll be taking early retirement in a couple of years. Plan on picking up motorcycling again but with the classic 350 and not a sport bike again 😁. Take on some nice rides like you but in BC Canada. The roads in the UK look stunning. May have to travel there to ride those roads in the future

Coincidentally I was close to there this morning filming a loop round Longnor & Hollinsclough. Fantastic lanes and views but sadly filming totally ruined by drizzle. Only just over 20 mins so may pop back and film again in the morning. Recorded the route on Relive so will do it identically (hopefully drier) Only plus point this morning was encountering some of a group of around 300 MOPED riders from Holland heading to Scotland at 30 mph

A great ride around some stunning countryside, that doesn’t get a lot of coverage.

Gob smacked. Empty single lane tracks with views, what more could you want on a sunny day . I went out on bike on Tuesday it was a warm sunny 25 dgs. 40 miles from home temp dived to 20 and the sky opened and I was soaked to the skin. Back home and it was was sunny and warm! Think the wife thought I deterred via a car wash…😜🤣🤣

I'm a newbie biker, just about to do my last mod for my big bike, looking at getting a little virago. Complain to the Rail Ombudsman. Rail companies can't refuse to tell you what powers they are acting under when they say 4 wheeled vehicles can use car parking spaces, but two wheeled can't. What if you parked a 3 wheeled vehicle that can be operated under a car drivers licence, e.g. a Yamaha Tricity? The Rail Ombudsman is a free service and any decision it makes is binding on the train service provider. Further details about the Rail Ombudsman are on their website.

Because parking one bike In the space one car could occupy is bloody selfish.if every space had a bike then only around 60 people could park .since most cars occupence is up to 5 people per car that means 300 plus can park .selfish to do other than that.

I’ve been doing some research on the classic 350. I used to ride a sport bike and years later I’m looking at more modern classic bikes. The reason I’m leaving a comment though is even though I live in beautiful British Columbia Canada, I can’t get over the endless stunning rural roads in the UK that are a dream for casual motorcycling. From the stone houses to the rolling hills it’s ridiculously beautiful. All the diff UK Moto channels I watch, you all have these insanely breathtaking roads to ride. Your all blessed in the UK. It’s my mission to get out there after my early retirement in a couple of years to ride those roads. Cheers Graham

just park to bike there pay the ticket if they charge you sue them and let the judge have the final say.

Time to switch to a TRIKE as that is NOT a motorcycle or purchase a flat bed lorry with a ramp - pay for the parking space and allow bike riders to leave their motorcycles on the flat bed !

Interesting, Dave. It could be that the Rudston 'cross' is like Banbury Cross, which refers to the cross-road, though there were many actual crosses in Banbury, all destroyed by the Puritans in 1600. The present Banbury Cross edifice was erected in 1859.

That route isn't far from me as I'm in Hull , often pop to Fimber then take this road to the coast on my Interceptor. Nice video !
