Can you elaborate on how you managed to chambered a 40s&w round into a 357sig barrel. The 40s&w will get stock in the barrel and slide won't go into battery.
A 357 Sig round is simply a 40 cal round with a bottle neck. It will chamber. I did it. The 40 cal round was loaded into my .357 mag and fed into the chamber with no problem. However, I think it's off just enough that it did not ignite the primer. You may have a 40 cal round that's fmj or something. I was using Gold Dots.
@@copgun I know what a 357sig round is, I've been shooting them since 1998. And I have 5 or 6 guns chambered in 357sig. Now here is the thing, there is no way a gun chambered in 357sig will load a 40s&w round and be able to closed the slide. Now you can load and shoot a 357sig on a pistol chambered in 40s&w. Same way you can't load a 9mm into a 380 but you can the other way around. And the same goes with 10mm and 40s&w.
@@katanapr3 I agree. The slide comes within maybe 8th inch to being completely closed. I attempted to duplicate it just now using a .40 red dot. You obviously know your stuff, because you’re 100% correct. Given it almost closes, it’s definitely not ever going off, the ejector grabbed it and I was on to the next round. A .357 sig this time. I appreciate your comments and I made a video of the experiment. Lmk if you want me to send it directly to you. Shoot straight, keep safe out there.
@@copgun glad you clear that out. One other thing, how did you blew up a .556 barrel with a 300 blackout? Is the same situation, the 300 blackout is huge next to the .556 it won't chamber either.
@@katanapr3 unfortunately I don’t remember if it was a 556 upper that exploded or the 300, it happens frequently. When I brought the upper back to sig they knew exactly what happened. Lesson learned is never shoot 556 and 300 blackout together. You are bound to grab the wrong magazine
I fwu man 100% but that lighting had me thinking you got a mean ass mustache and soul patch lmfao!
I will learn from you ❤
I noticed the belt is 1.75 and not 2inches wide. Does the holster slide around at all.
Are you black?
Blah blah blah. Just take it apart without the lecture bro
I will do better my man
What size are you wearing? XXL XXXL XXXXL ?
So it's weird. For the size, it says 2413-2215. Probably not to helpful
Can you tell me the size of the Ak47's Spring mm? I mean the width not the length thanks
Stay high speed never know what’s gonna happen
truth 100 %
Is that the original clip or did you get new one
Original mag. It works very well. No issues even during bump firing.
All review point to trash
Than as for this explained video I have a similar classic p229th in 40 cal. I recently bought on eBay an original sig Sauer 357 barrel Doesn't fit right into. Feel to tighten If I want to send it around the chamber? It won't have any trouble if I do it ?
If it's an Original 357 Barrel you should have no issues. The recoil spring should be the same for both calibers. Could you make sure you're safe and let her rip? My spring on the 40 cal is tighter than the 357 sig spring but should be the same.
Hey wait a second. Sig will tell you the barrels they offer now (.357 sig) will not fit the older model 229s. Basically the models that came before the e2 grips from what I understand.
@@jashaejoseph3752 I have three old 229's. I converted on to .40 cal. It needed a new barrel and recoil spring. So yes I agree the older ones can be switched over. I don't have a newer one to mess with. I would check eBay for an older barrel. I should do a video on the ones I have. They are heavy but great guns.
I don't think extended magazines are good for this gun🤔
100 agree. It worked very well with the factory mag and good ammo. Decent gun for the money. The 30 round mag looks cool though.
If you have a chambered round and want to decock, why not just flip the barrel up, lower the hammer, then close the barrel?
You can do that. I have done it. It's kinda cool when I hit the barrel lever. It flips the round out hard. It goes flying across the room.
Gen 4 only ones ill have .Gen 5 the finish wears off in places after couple boxes of ammo.gen 4 , some have thousands of rounds and still look brand new .The 27-23-22 are picking back up in popularity
Great. Video!!
Thank you :)
Why's it so heavy? Seems like its just filled with sand or something 🤔 Kevlar i think the fabric may be. Why don't cops get level 4 carrier plates? 🤨 U guys are LITERALLY out there with ppl with pistols?? Another question, why aren't your SIDES ever protected? Could easily get injured with something sharp or some guy comes at u from the side with a round? Need something in the back as well. To protect you. There's a new round that's out. Goes over 3,100 FPS will literally destroy. And citizens can buy the rounds. More poweful than a 308 😬 My last suggestion, maybe someone can take my idea and turn themselves into a billionaire.. with the technology we have today, why don't they take s torso casting of the officer, and model a full torso protection? Could pretty much use medium layer of cast iron to fill in and give alot of protection. Theres even shock absorbers to help the officer not get bruised or broken ribs. Can literally use plaster of paris and get the officers torso mold and get to work to make it. Or use size charts S / M / Lg / XL etc. surely by now someone would have thought of full body protection to help guard ur sides. Maybe some stretch kevlar to protect ur neck. I ask, bc I've seen fabric that knives won't work on no matter how sharp it is. Idk if it's lightly ceramic coated or what. Was just a couple ideas I'd toss out. Not sure if some engineers or fabric specialists could do anything with it. Thanks for showing us ur video 🤘🔥
Wow, you bring up so many good points. You are protected from the side. The vest overlaps internally. Some cops get shot in the arm pit area which usually proves fatal. The new vests are getting very light and thin. Ammo keeps advancing and getting faster and faster with +p+. The vest will NOT stop anything rifle speed. A cast is a good idea as well. Ceramic is also a great bullet stopper but weighs a bit. I remember working without a vest for many years. But today it's mandatory and a good idea. They also don't protect against a knife. Great comment bro. Thank you
Just got my P229 last week. It's been my dream gun for nearly a decade and I love it. It's a non-rail early model with an AG serial number prefix. My biggest regret was selling my sig P220 carry way back in the day.
The vests are probably more comfortable than a hospital bed.... and i would rather wear a vest than end up in a hospital bed or six feet under...
This is true. I feel more confident wearing it. They are getting thinner and a tad bit more comfortable.
mf do you go to the gym? that forearms are huge
Thank you for that 🙂
I got my glock 23 for the first time and dont know much when the magazine is out of the gun the trigger wont squeeze until the magazine is back in ?
My glock 23 when the magazine is out of the gun the trigger won't squeeze no more it will be pushed back is that supposed to happen I lost my clip so don't know if my trigger will be reset where it can click ?
Do a search for dead trigger Glock. I bet it’s the connecting rod or trigger spring. It should dry fire with the mag out.
Im only 16 but i want to earn a gold badge/shield one day 🙏🏾
Yes you will, Being a police officer is a calling. We need the help. Get your body ready and keep your mind sharp. We will welcome you into the brotherhood.
I carry my lcp2 as my EDC. I upgraded my mag and added a HYVE 2 round extension with a houge grip and it’s fun to shoot
Still my favorite gun to carry my EDC as well.
I'm not sure what to say about this video, observed some limp wristing. Also stated rapid fire test, looked real slow.
I don't ever limp wrist guns so that's not an option. The ammo I used was spotty. When I did the wrap up I explained that the new factory ammo shot very well, no malfunctions. The old ammo not so good but I don't fault the gun. It could just be bad ammo. I didn't want to rapid fire the gun at the SIG range. Maybe I should ask them if it's okay to rip a mag real quick. Thanks for the feedback. I'm always looking for ways to improve.
Bought one today for 219 with flat trigger went straight to range 50 rounds of 115 grain fmj no issues 25 rounds of American gunner jhp 115 grain no issue 25 rounds of fucchio 115 grain hyper preformace nothing but light primer strikes so good gun ammo picky. They may have a heavy primer but all my other guns run them fine
@@guynall4025 I agree 100 percent. I really like shooting this gun. I think it's a good deal for the price tag. 219 is cheap. That's a steal
How’s the sizing?
They come in small, medium and large, xlarge and 2XL. to adjust it you pull the tabs near the buckle and simply let out or take in some belt, then it sticks to itself. It's a very good system. Very comfortable. I'm a 34 waist and wear a large belt.

Love your old duty weapon I’ve got two black SS just like it both German NIB one 40 and on 357sig. Both have frame, slide and barrel with SNs never seen gun like that pretty neat! Yes absolutely beast of guns I’ve never even racked the 357sig but I do carry my 40 everyday. Love the content brother
Thank you for the support bro. Same feelings here on the old sigs. They will never attain this quality again. German made. Never had a hang-up of miss fire. If the world ends I will be duel wielding these bad boys.
@@copgun same lol they are some slick guns they don’t do quality like that anymore in my opinion.
Great video. Have you tried the Kore Battle belt ?
I have not tried Kore. I went to the website. The belts look very legit. I would like to get one in my hands to inspect.
That looks like a gen4 23 Mag release button is square any other one you showed was a Glock 43X.
43XMOS gen 5.
That was a 43XMOS. I think you are correct on the 23. I purchased that a while ago. I just picked up the Glock 20 Gen 5 10mm.
That’s a Gen3 and you could tell by the stippling and the recoil spring as it’s a single spring, the Gen4 has a dual recoil spring and nicer stippling.
@@RiQWitDaBliQ Nice thank you for sharing your knowledge. I agree.
Your is Draco is nice, i like that brace! And that mag skin is awesome 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for that nice comment. This is my most played with gun. I have shot it yet, but I take it out and mess with it all the time.
Mine spit out the ejector around the 200 round mark. Ruger customer service was great and replaced the entire slid assembly. Its my everyday around-the-house pocket gun. Lightweight and slim. Good video. 👍
I have purchased two. One had had 24k Gold plated. That didn't work out well. So I bought a new one. It's the perfect EDC. Small and light enough that you forget you have it.
What optics do you have on that 23 g 5
I've been looking for a good duty belt. This might be the option or the Haley Strategic belt. Also, is that the new high speed gear mag pouch??
Yes it is. The mag pouch is nice. You just have to adjust the fit with the two set screws to get the proper tightness on the mags. Mine was no tight enough and I dropped mags while putting the belt on. After I tightened them a little I have had zero issues.
I run that same handcuff pouch. Good pouch, mine has held up well.
mine is still holding up very well. I recently found it can comfortably hold two sets of cuffs. I'm running peerless and a small set of Smith and Wesson chain cuffs for those with smaller wrists.
@@copgun mine has a divider in it for two sets. I’ve always ran peerless. Tried S&W once and they got stuck on a guy. Wouldn’t unlock for some reason, thought we were going to have to cut them off and eventually I was able to break the lock and get them off. Quit using them after that.
@@GatlinMcDoubleStack It's always the worst having to cut them off somebody. Been there a few times. Or a rookie puts the cuffs on backwards.
@@copgun especially when they panic and act like it’s something you did to get them stuck on their wrist 🙄 lol.
you are speaking from experience. I have had police explorers lock a single set on one wrist, both key hold were inside facing each other. What a mess to get the kid put of those cuffs. @@GatlinMcDoubleStack
What’s the holster model
Safariland SIG p320 5/F/C 7390RDS-4502. If you put that into a google search it will pop right up.
@@copgun Hey copgun. I’m pretty sure you’re well aware of first amendment auditors, since they’re kinda big on CZcams. What are your thoughts on them?
Wow that's a great question. We had one come to our town, He was arrested and posted the arrest on CZcams asking for money for his defense. He plead guilty for resisting arrest. My thoughts on these guys are simple, I don't mind them, I know they have the right to record me and I don't do anything wrong. I think some cops have huge egos, they attempt to abuse the law to intimidate people. Bottom line I work for the public and everything I do to enforce the law should be transparent to everyone. Plus I wear a body camera so I'm recording as well. @@kinggoku209
This bullshit has been around since I was a cop 1992. I hated nylon it looks like shit when it gets snow and salt on it. Our Condor taticial molly belts with the cobra belt buckle. We use them on SWAT! GOOD VIDEO.
This all is derived from the world of competition.
That is a great observation. I agree 100%. Great point
I feel the smsc is the best red dot! Very bright, always on, self dimming that is instant, low profile, decent price! Don’t want to add plates for a specific dot.
I could not agree more. The other night I was just messing around with it pointing it at the TV and other objects. It's so cool how it adjust it's brightness. My favorite EDC. I just watched a Navy Seal give an interview. They ask what he carried. He said the Glock 43 MOS.
Awesome
youcop?
only when I'm working
Good video, thanks!
thank you for the support
@copgun What model/brand is that carrier Sir?
It's a Safariland item #1303518 Model: EOC FO TMW. I hope that helps you out.
Nice! I have one too. Your wood furniture looks great! Mine is still the lighter original color.
Thanks for the wood comment. I refinished it with a cherry stain attempting to get that Russian Red look. I agree these are inexpensive guns but this AK runs and never has any issues except the barrel heating up in rapid fire. "bump fire" situations.
When you’re cleaning the carrier do put it in a washer on delicate?
Great question, as I just did this. I take the plates out of the vest. I leave any soft molly gear on the vest. I then wash it on the normal cycle. After it's done I put a few new dryer sheets inside the vest where the Kevlar plates go. That way when I get sweaty it smells like fresh laundry instead of crap.
Great vid loved it
Thank you
The LCP2 hasn’t even been out 15 years lol LCP version 1 yes lol smh DA!
How many parts are interchangeable between each Gen? Just wondering thx
