Harry you were a very special friend to me when I was in the CCC/Bloorview Children's rehab hospital in 1981/82 after a spinal cord injury when I was 15 years old. You are still in my heart! You were involved in the wonderful recreation program. We remained friends for a while after - when I went to university in Toronto we met up for a visit. We watched a Jay's ball game in your basement and your cat - who apparently hated everyone - curled up on my lap. We went out for an ice cream after --- and one day many months after you and your friend were going to Kingston/Queen's and called me on your cell phone to drop in for a visit in Belleville. It was likely one of the first cell phone/car calls in 82/83! I don't expect you to remember it --- my family doesn't even - but it was, and remains, very important to me. I also thank you for donating to my van fund in 2011 and I have been continuing to work as much as possible but my health is declining, as I'm sure you understand.🥰 God bless you Harry and your efforts to support Parkinson's research and support.
