How to Assemble a Brightroom 3-Tier Metal Wire Cart
In this video, I explain step by step how to assemble a Brighton 3 Tier Wire Cart. This cart is very convenient for a variety of uses including: kitchen supplies storage, tools, art supplies, house plants, and others. With the three metal wire shelves, there are many options for how to configure this storage unit.
The only tools needed to build this are the included wrench as well as a pair of scissors. The entire process takes about 30 minutes if you're going at a gentle pace. Thank you for checking out my video and feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions or feedback. Take care, Ben.

How to Replace a Toilet Handle/Flush Lever
zhlédnutí 82Před 2 měsíci
Hi Everyone, today my kids decided to break the toilet tank lever off of our toilet. I went down to my local Re-Store (a discount hardware type store) and bought one for about three dollars. The normal retail value for these things is generally between seven and ten dollars; still a better story than paying a professional a hundred dollars or more. Anyway, with just a few simple tools (a pair o...

      @chadleatherby3309 That's an excellent question. It might be possible, perhaps, to access this part from the back of the unit if you were to rotate it around after pulling it out of the cabinets. However, it might be challenging to really access the impeller or troubleshoot the drip pan sensor. If you are able to do it, please let me know. Did you end up figuring out what the issue was with your unit?

      @chadleatherby3309 I'm glad you got your system working. That's interesting that the impeller looked ok. If the drip pan continues to fill up and trip the sensor, another part you might want to examine is the water inlet valve. @karatefox Před 15 dny

      @04gtno Oh dang, I've been wondering whether or not that part was from the system. It may be worth noting that my water inlet valve also failed around this time and I ended up replacing that part. I wonder if it might be from there? Thanks for the information, hopefully we can eventually identify what that part does. Since doing my repairs, my dishwasher has been working great so hopefully the part isn't super necessary.

    • @04gtno
      @04gtno Před 15 dny

      @@karatefox that's great to hear that yours is still working. Maybe that part isn't crucial to normal operation. I just put mine back in, but I'm a little concerned that it might come out again. I can't think of any good reason for that part to pop out, but I did blow compressed air through the back end of the drain tube to see if there was an obstruction, so I'm assuming when I did that it popped that piece out. Did you do anything like that also?

    • @karatefox
      @karatefox Před 15 dny

      @04gtno Interesting, I didn't try clearing out tye drain tube, but during a different troubleshooting adventure I do remember being a lot of buildup inside the tube, which made me want to replace it-definitely recommend replacing those things every couple years 🤢. It's possible tye part was knocked loose from normal wear and tear from the system vibrating.

    My dishwasher has so much condensation on the door, side walls, and bottom...even with high heat drying. Does anyone else have this problem? If i don't empty it right away, condensation stays, and that's not good. It can smell if it doesn't dry.

    • @karatefox
      @karatefox Před 20 dny

      @michellesmall7527 Interesting. Is it like that after running a cycle, or do you find that condensation is accumulating even when the unit is not running? My first thought is that you might want to check the air vent on the front of the door of your dishwasher. The opening might be blocked, and is preventing moisture from properly venting.

    One question. This two blades inside should be lose like this??

    • @karatefox
      @karatefox Před 7 měsíci

      Yes, tye blades should be able to freely rotate and move-this is normal. The blades are attached to a rotating circular plate which is connected to the motor. As the circular metal plate rotates, the blades are able to loosely chop into any foreign material in the drain without the blades sustaining damage from the impacts. If the blades collide with a hard object like glass or hard plastic, they can move slightly to lessen the impact to the blades and preserve the integrity of the system from wear and tear.

    Other solution: I got a new sink and garbage disposal. After that, the dishwasher suddenly stoped drained. Perplexed me. It might seem obvious that this is where I should have focused on. But hey, I followed the instructions here and still didn’t work. Lo and behold, with a flashlight this time, another look at where the hose hooks up to the garbage disposal and i discover the culprit: The new garbage disposal had a little blocked hole (kinda like a plug but semi-permanent) that has to be knocked out when you first get the garbage disposal. So it would be like trying to a pee with a blocked p-hole (sorry for the visual lol). Knocked it out with a screw driver and hammer. Bam. Drains like normal. Sheesh!!

      That's good to know. Perhaps it's like an industry standard to use that part. It's a sturdy little impeller, and mine has weathered a few jam-ups already. Perhaps Samsung should evaluate their drain design and add a better filter to further prevent foreign material from colliding with the impeller. It seems to be a common failure mode.

      Good question. I still haven't had any luck identifying it, but others in the comments have reported seeing the same piece. I feel like it may have come from the water inlet valve, which failed around the same time as this issue. Have you seen that part before? I'm super curious.

      My similar dishwasher failed, but it is deeper in the guts of it and probably on the drain side. Same error code, impeller was clean. Unit was also damaged in shipping, so going to try and use the warranty.

      @MorellioBenoir That's unfortunate that the unit arrived damaged. If the warranty still covers it, sending it back is definitely the way to go-even if it's a time-consuming process. Hopefully the replacement unit will work out. Please keep me posted 👊

    Great video man! Really helpful! I still haven’t found the root cause of my dishwasher not draining properly but I did remove the impeller and it was actually pretty clean. The only concern I have is that my impeller did not want to spin like yours did. It would only spin about half a circle on both directions. I didn’t want to force it because I thought that maybe that’s how it was made but do you think something is causing it to not spin freely ?

      Interesting, it sounds like there may be something jamming the impeller from the inside. How old is your system? When was the last time that it was working? What does it feel like once you turn the blades of the impeller? Is there friction after the half turn or does it just feel stuck like something isn't allowing it to make a full revolution?

      It might be the magnets in the motor that give fairly stiff resistance every half turn - that's what they are supposed to do? But not rigid resistance. If so I guess one of the plastic waterproof seals has broken. It's fairly easy to dissemble and simply have a look inside. Take off the large grey plastic ring by prising gently with a large screwdriver, then grab the white, plastic seals with some suitable grips and pull.

    HELPFUL TIP: tuen off water supply at valves under sink and Lay down a few heavy towels on the floor before turning dishwasher on its side as a good amount of water will leak onto floor from drip pan and drain line and water supply line.

      Definitely good advice. It's surprising how much water those things can hold. Thanks for checking out my video.

      @LuisGonzalez-zf2qy Never feel bad about speaking your mind. As far as the ad thingy, I recently grew my channel to the point where I can monetize it, which is cool. But I kind of don't fully know what I'm doing yet in terms of over or under-doing the whole ad thingy. It's definitely something to think about though. I appreciate the feedback, and I'm happy the video helped you to get things done 👊

    Once you get the disposer on the flange and tightened, are you able to ROTATE the disposer to line up with the existing drain pipes? Thanks.

    • @karatefox
      @karatefox Před rokem

      Yes, absolutely. The flange maintains enough pressure to prevent water from leaking out but should be loose enough to be able to rotate the disposer to reattach the pipes. The white drain pipes should also be able to rotate slightly at their joints too.
