Did you have problems with the studs on the heater not being long enough to get through the metal on the other side of the fire wall to be able to install the nuts? The firewall is flexible so was wondering if you had to put pressure on it to get the screws to pass through the metal?

Just finished this install following your video instructions for 2020 570 mid-size EFI (NO EPS). Your video is flawless thank you! Only minor suggestions I would make to readers is mark one of your new coolant hoses so you don’t have to trace them from front to back, just to avoid simple mistake of flip flopping them. Also, I took my time with cutting hose lengths, didn’t want to cut too short or too long while balancing where to zip tie and tape. Lastly, when you unhook coolant lines it does come out like a “giser” as he says in video I would go for hooking up the lower vertical to the new hose first as opposed to the other, I.e. you’ll save a little coolant hooking up passenger side first, coolant on passenger side comes out faster than the driver’s side once factory coolant hoses are disconnected. Hope that makes sense. Can’t thank you enough for this video

cdn.polarisportal.com/servicemanagement-public/KitInstructions/9925255r04.pdf I found this today, the templates scale correctly. I will be working on install during the week. Finished the install on Friday. Thanks for all the video, it was very helpful. I had a problem getting the cooling fan to cycle until I turned the temp control down. The temp went from 177 degrees to 199 after that. Now onto sealing up the air flow through the firewall.

hi just purchased the 570 full size with this 3 pc roof. the end pieces of the roof only have one clamp on side roll bar but it seems to allow the side panels to flap in the wind when on the trailer at 100kmph or 60 miles per hour. then if you have a semi in the other lane causing even more turbulence. It almost seems like it will tear/rip off. Do you also have this situation or did you find a fix for the front to back motion on the side panels? thanks

I have a 2014 900 crew with polaris heater I installed about a year ago following your great video I followed your bleeding process and since have also automotive coolant pressure tool to try to bleed the system. My machine as I am driving it will build to about 180 degrees and then drop to about 168 and it will do this about three times then finally climb up to the 206 so the fan kicks on and my heater only puts out about 100 degrees on a heat gun and my hose to the heater where it plugs into the heater is about 180 degrees on the heat gun. Any ideas thanks.

The Video was very helpful Thank you. I have a question, I am getting ready to install my heater kit in my 2018 Mid Size 570. My question is in regards to the duct holes from the box to the inside of the Cab. Once you have used the template and drilled your pilot hole I know you talked about angling the drill when going thru the 2 layered dash. To get the angle right could that be drilled from the outside into the compartment so you know the angle will be right? Just wondering if it would make life easier

I've put this heater on my 2016 Ranger ETX. There isn't the same "t-line" etc as you've described. All I had was the main 2 coolant lines. So I bought two T connectors and cut into those 2 main coolant lines. I "T'd" the heater hoses into these lines. I had major air lock and I've doing the bleeder as you've described. I've got the coolant running through the bike but still can't get heat from the heater. Any ideas??

Do you still have this cab? If so how's it holding up? Thinking of getting one for my XT1, tired of getting drenched with snow from the blower. They no longer sell the snow blower attachment, just found that out today, glad I got mine when I did. Just need a cab LOL.

Brother you did a great service to DIY'ers with this video. . . I finished it today and it works awesome.. We barely looked at the instructions. I do have to say that filling the heater core mentioned by a commenter really cut down on the bleeding the system process We did a couple extra things to secure the glove box in position as the inside bolt hole was cracked, and fitment of the vents. none of them budge at all. Thanks Bud... much appreciated video... 2015 Hunter Edition XP900..

Yep- just installed mine today. After the install my machine was overheating and had no heat. I am in the process of using the bleeder valve, think i have a bunch of air that is limiting my heat. I didnt clamp the hoses like a dope so i lost a lot of coolant.

Great job and many thanks. My instructions included non-scaled templates which were basically useless. I found that if I scanned then printed them at 135% the vertical dimensions were correct but the horizontal were still short. Not sure why Polaris would intentionally alter the scales but after some errant holes it's in.
