Thanks for the information you shared. I want to order some plants from the US and would like to know about the tax. What percentage of the price will I need to pay? Does it depend on the province, and will it be different for each one? For example, in Quebec, it's 15%. The nursery told me that Canadian customs will contact me for any additional payment. I found that I don't need to fill out any forms for permission to import from the US. Thank you again for informative content.

Foggers work well to get rid of pest. I've use foggers to get rid of house pest and I've always wondered and I thought it must be luck that I don't get plant pest besides mealy bugs in my indoor plants. It's the foggers them pesky boogers away. Foggers don't keep mealy bugs away but those I find to he the easiest to get rid of with rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip/brush 🖌️.

I use loose shoelaces to hold my plants up if they get too tall or droop They look cute, and seem to appreciate the support. Mine don't droop if they get proper lite! Thanks! R. J.

Not helpful, I don't care about the company you are buying from, I thought that this video was about the process of applying for an import permit which you barely cover at all. You mention some fees but don't even say how much it costs or how long is the delay before your permit is issued and can be used. Also, this is a critic of the system but it doesn't make sense to me to write who I will be buying from before applying for the permit. I'm looking into the process of importing plants because I found one that I want to buy from a specific seller but I'll probably be buying from another seller I don't even know about yet next month. Do we really have to re-apply every time we buy from a different seller? This is just making things so complicated for nothing...

I broke the dunks I got into pieces and put a few chunks in every pot and when I water I pour the water over the cluster of chunks and it's working.

More light will equal thicker.

You need to place the holes in the baster at the bottom. Once the level in the pot falls below the holes, the water in the baster is trapped and no longer reflects the level in the pot. You could siphon all of the water out of the pot and the float in the baster would still be at the bottom of the holes.
