I agree with how much this helps with mental health breaks, I work a lot and its a stressful job at times, well most times lol, but I come home and shut it off rather than focus on anything from the day, by taking care of my plants, yes its work but in a good way , brings me such joy with seeing new growth etc, like a different sense of self accomplishment .. and failure too. I got into plants in 2018 too, although I’ve had a few potted houseplants over the years. The obsession started with succulents, I bought some to play with whilst recovering from partial knee replacement surgeries. The obsession spread to houseplants and now Hoyas. It has been great for my mental health, but also challenging at times because I have so many I get overwhelmed! Thanks for the mid house clean distraction!
