farm house window aluminum trim cap, fixed my mistake, come on give it a like!
on this video, I am working on capping a 5/4" X 3 1/2" wooden frame with PVC coated aluminum trim (trim coil) on a window we put in, the sides were done already, but mainly showing how to wrap the very face of the aluminum "cap" around the sides, on this particular frame, i marked with a pencil for the "return" bend, normally, i would use, red or green aviation snips, to mark the layout location, i don't know why i used a pencil, but it worked good to prove the red and green snips are better for a precise mark, anyway the window finally got a drip cap on the top trim we did, then we put on new j-channel, and we were done.

@user-ge2fb9fh2q user, I'm sure the soot is still there, encapsulated in OHIO SEALANT INC. qaud caulk still, being a top performer (not yellowing or cracking) nor has it leaked a drop, covering up that old lead paint on the exterior trim. Each window is done with pride and care, and is still there. I'm sure the owner didn't mind.

This is exactly how I used to do those panels on roofs. Those darn things are ridiculously difficult to get started. All it takes is a little dimple and you’re good to go. However, put the dimple in the wrong spot and you’ve put the fastener in the wrong spot. This is a good tip and people that are using sheet metal should try to use your method here.
