Hi there, my friend! Great observation. In the video at 2 minutes and 46 seconds (on page 51 of the book), I demonstrate how Steve plays nowadays. In the book, I show the easier way to play the same notes but with different shapes. As you can see in the book, the rest remains the same. This section of the album features an electric guitar and 12 strings. All the best!

Paulo i'm learning with your book willow farm and I see that is on 12/8 with parts on 6/8 but the drums seems to be 4/4 and 4/2. It is me?
Hi, my friend. Great question. This question explains why bands like Genesis are so good in many details. The drums play like 4/4, but in some parts, they are 12/8, like when Peter sings, "We've got everything..." But you can feel better in the vocals because they are clearly 12/8. It is good to know you are paying attention to little details. I appreciate your support.

Uma dúvida sobre a mão direita: notei que você toca o violão sem palheta e a transição entre os acordes e dedilhados é de uma perfeição e limpeza no som. Você chega a utilizar as unhas para o dedilhado? Aliás, finalmente juntei uma grana e comprei seu songbook do Voyage of Acolyte (ainda mais agora que aqui no Brasil resolveram aprovar uns impostos de importação, já garanti o meu antes que suba mais ainda o valor pela Amazon). Estou ansioso pra quando chegar e descobrir mais segredos dessa obra prima de álbum criada pelo mestre Hackett!!! Abraços!
Oi amigo, obrigado pela força, desculpa por meus livros serem tão caros no Brasil, prometo quando conseguir algo melhor te aviso. Eu gosto de tocar algumas vezes sem palheta, depende do tipo de som, inclusive você pode ver que em alguns vídeos eu uso palheta, nesse caso eu quis um som com menos ataque e também tem horas que uso a unha e outros não, no mesmo caso do tipo de som que quero. Bem, não sei se consegui responde alguma coisa mas tentei. 😂

Hi my friend. In response to your excellent question. Nobody will notice the difference when playing the specified sequence with the band, utilizing 4 2 4 2 or 4 4 2 4 4 2. In my approach of 4 4 2 4 4 2, I execute a specific technique where, upon picking down the first 4, I seamlessly transition upwards to reach the subsequent 2 while concurrently initiating the pick for the following 4. This method facilitates a smooth transition between notes and a seamless musical performance. I hope this addresses your query effectively. Dear Paulo, I have been a Genesis fan for many years but somehow only very recently discovered your amazingly thorough and beautiful Genesis books! Thank you so much for undertaking the tremendous efforts involved!! One point here, the fact that I had never heard of these wonders until just recently, despite my being an avid Genesis and prog rock fan may indicate that you should find a way to more widely advertise these treasures. I am certain there must be very many fans such as myself out there who would love to buy your books. Now, you asked for requests and I do have one that is very dear to me, and that is to please consider transcriptions and/or videos of some of Anthony Phillips material!! Specifically and especially, his amazing solo album The Geese and Ghost. There is amazing guitar work on that album and surprisingly extremely little available in the way of videos (a very few covers here and there) or transcriptions/tabs. I have worked out a few sections of some of the songs myself, but am not very good at it I'm afraid. Peace my friend!
