Dear Paulo, I have been a Genesis fan for many years but somehow only very recently discovered your amazingly thorough and beautiful Genesis books! Thank you so much for undertaking the tremendous efforts involved!! One point here, the fact that I had never heard of these wonders until just recently, despite my being an avid Genesis and prog rock fan may indicate that you should find a way to more widely advertise these treasures. I am certain there must be very many fans such as myself out there who would love to buy your books. Now, you asked for requests and I do have one that is very dear to me, and that is to please consider transcriptions and/or videos of some of Anthony Phillips material!! Specifically and especially, his amazing solo album The Geese and Ghost. There is amazing guitar work on that album and surprisingly extremely little available in the way of videos (a very few covers here and there) or transcriptions/tabs. I have worked out a few sections of some of the songs myself, but am not very good at it I'm afraid. Peace my friend!

Nevertheless a VERY lot of your transcriptions arent easy to play :( Then, not only more video like this one would help , but on top of it might permit to make aware thèse books to the Steve Hackett / Genesis community … for example, watcher of the sky isnt straightforward at all. Nice site, just subscribed, I suspect there is no lack of stuff like this to cover in genesis and their solo stuff if you desire. I think Anthony Phillips said Mike used to play the cello onstage but when it caught in a girls skirt in a small club they figured the hell with it. Imagine being 25 and thinking that in half a century people would be talking about your music.

Paulo i'm learning with your book willow farm and I see that is on 12/8 with parts on 6/8 but the drums seems to be 4/4 and 4/2. It is me?
Hi, my friend. Great question. This question explains why bands like Genesis are so good in many details. The drums play like 4/4, but in some parts, they are 12/8, like when Peter sings, "We've got everything..." But you can feel better in the vocals because they are clearly 12/8. It is good to know you are paying attention to little details. I appreciate your support.

Never knew there was a Cello. Rutherford while not being their "best" guitarist was quite an outstanding rhythm player, memorable bass player, pioneering bass pedal synthesizer, and co-wrote lots of their songs.
Yes my friend, he is without a doubt one of the best 12-string players in the world of Prog Rock.
@@paulogtr1 I’m mainly a bassist but after getting a set of behringer Taurus pedals I’ve really been digging his guitar playing. Definitely considering picking up guitar and probably starting on 12 string.
