Thanks for the lesson. I hope you continue and see more varied tutorials. Such as writing data to SD card, sending data via mqtt protocol, etc. I have a question about this tutorial. Since I don't have a dht20 but I do have a dht22, I did the tutorial with it, using gpio 38 for input. Everything works, data and chart are displayed, but every 10-15 seconds or so the display flashes. I tried everything, but I couldn't find where the problem was. Is there something for gpio 38 in the config file that I'm missing?
when i open file on ide its showing read only mode
Hi Can you make a tutorial on how to load in a PNG image as either .png, or .bin stored in SPIFFS, and SD Card? I have an application which uses a few images, and no space to use the C source code on the target
Thank you for your attention. We will collect your all suggestions. If we plan to release related tutorials, we will notify you through subscription.
@@Elecrow Thanks for the prompt reply, I really appreciate it. Just one thing to add, the main thing that seems a bit complicated, and would need a bit of attention, is mounting the SPIFFS, and SD card to LVGL, loading PNG, bin, JPEG, and gifs seems to be quite straight forward. I look forward to seeing a tutorial about this, thank you again

Dear Elecrow, in the v3.0 code of this example there is a PCA9557.h included, which is not provided. When I search for it and download it and try to make it work, all hell breaks loose. I enter a loop of constantly having to download further files. Maybe you should update this. Thanks
Thank you for the kind reminder. I will package the PCA9557 library and place it in the file directory. In addition, if you want to use the 3.0 version of the code, you need to confirm that you are using a board with a version higher than 3.0. You can refer to this link to determine the version of the board:github.com/Elecrow-RD/CrowPanel-ESP32-Display-Course-File/blob/main/CrowPanel_ESP32_Tutorial/Code/README.md
@@Elecrow Ah, okay. My board is exactly 3.0, so that won't work then. v2 Code is working fine on my board. Thanks.

How to design SLS, create UI files, edit user setup TFT you have introduced in great detail; but I don't see instructions for editing the .ino file?
At the eight-minute mark of the video, you'll find comprehensive instructions on modifying the .ino file. Given that the video features the most streamlined code that I've already refined, it doesn't necessitate extensive changes. Additionally, reviewing the previous lessons' videos, which provide a complete breakdown of the code, will, I believe, aid in your comprehension of the sample code I've provided. Hi Elecrow, will this screen work with a Victron Cerbo gx. Kind regards.
Hi, thank you for asking. We have not tested it on the device you mentioned. The preliminary judgment standard is that our screen uses a regular HDMI interface and a 1280*800 resolution. If the device you mentioned can normally work with other HDMI screens and can support 1280*800 resolution, then it can work with our screen. READ MY UPDATE FOLLOWING THIS PARAGRAPH: I had the same problem that others have reported here. After an error-free compile and upload of the Draw.ino sketch, the program loads and I can see the "Hello, my Display" output on the serial console but the display (I am testing with the 5.0" version) remains black. I think it might have something to do with building the sketch on the Mac version of Arduino IDE (Version 2.3.2 - Apple silicon) as I have not been able to get this particular sketch to work. After many attempts on the mac, I decided to try it on my windows 11 PC with Arduino IDE 2.3.2 and it worked fine the very first time using the latest ESP32 board library (3.0.1) and the latest version of LovyanGFX (1.1.16). During my testing, I tried installing many different versions of the ESP32 and LovyanGFX libraries on the Mac Arduino IDE environment and they all failed with this same issue. Hopefully someone at Elecrow can test these builds using the mac version of Arduino IDE and libraries and figure out what's happening. UPDATE: I was able to get it working on the MAC environment as well. I ended up creating a new directory for my sketches on another drive and set it as the default. My original sketch folder had a lot of projects and libraries in it so perhaps there was some sort of conflict. After creating a new "clean" sketch folder and changing the Sketch Location in the Arduino IDE preferences, it is working as shown in the tutorial. Also, for the record, after I got it working properly on the Mac environment, I tested it with ESP32 2.0.15, 2.0.17 and 3.0.1 libraries and it worked with all of them. I am using v1.1.16 version of the LovyanGFX library.
Hi, I recommend using the 2.0.15 ESP32 package to ensure consistency and avoid potential errors. I've found it to be more reliable than version 3.0.1. Could you please consider using the same to match my version? Thank you.
@@Elecrow I was able to get it working on the mac environment. See my update in the original post above. These tutorials (and the comments by viewers) are quite helpful though, thank you for posting this series and I look forward to seeing more.

Can i use relay module in this to trigger some electronic equipment?
Hi, yes, sure 😊
Sorry for the English translation. I am French speaking. This is really an excellent tutorial. Well done, well explained, really excellent. I have a small question. I have the 7 inch screen. When I download the code, everything works perfectly. However, when I press the ON button or the OFF button, the whole image moves slightly from left to right, a little oscillation. Is this normal?
This may be because the speed of the 7-inch display driver is too high, you can appropriately reduce a little, in the gfx_conf.h file, find the 7-inch driver interface code, find cfg.freq_write = 16000000; You can change it to 14000000 and it will have a noticeable effect.

I'm trying to put WiFIAcessPoint to work but I got the following error message: c:/users/roger/appdata/local/arduino15/packages/esp32/tools/xtensa-esp32s3-elf-gcc/gcc8_4_0-esp-2021r2-patch3/bin/../lib/gcc/xtensa-esp32s3-elf/8.4.0/../../../../xtensa-esp32s3-elf/bin/ld.exe: C:\Users oger\AppData\Local\Temp\arduino\sketches\D30D8ADE277D8F826ADF87E3C5FEB0F3/CrowPanel_Demo.ino.elf section `.dram0.bss' will not fit in region `dram0_0_seg' c:/users/roger/appdata/local/arduino15/packages/esp32/tools/xtensa-esp32s3-elf-gcc/gcc8_4_0-esp-2021r2-patch3/bin/../lib/gcc/xtensa-esp32s3-elf/8.4.0/../../../../xtensa-esp32s3-elf/bin/ld.exe: DRAM segment data does not fit. c:/users/roger/appdata/local/arduino15/packages/esp32/tools/xtensa-esp32s3-elf-gcc/gcc8_4_0-esp-2021r2-patch3/bin/../lib/gcc/xtensa-esp32s3-elf/8.4.0/../../../../xtensa-esp32s3-elf/bin/ld.exe: DRAM segment data does not fit. c:/users/roger/appdata/local/arduino15/packages/esp32/tools/xtensa-esp32s3-elf-gcc/gcc8_4_0-esp-2021r2-patch3/bin/../lib/gcc/xtensa-esp32s3-elf/8.4.0/../../../../xtensa-esp32s3-elf/bin/ld.exe: region `dram0_0_seg' overflowed by 14752 bytes collect2.exe: error: ld returned 1 exit status Can you advise about this? Thansk a lot. Best Regards
Successfully Compile and upload draw.ino. Serial monitor shows "Hello, my Display". The display is blank/black. ??? I'm confident I've configured the IDE correctly for my 5" display.
Same here, for the second code
Recently, many people are using ESP32 packages higher than 2.1.5, and the black screen caused by it should be the ESP32 package is not perfect, so it is recommended to use the same package as in the video 😊
