I made this video and sold this bike mack in 2014. I regret selling this bike. What an awesome machine for an 80cc class machine!

A brand new gas powered snowblower for $179....this is a great deal. I use it to "touch up" the driveway, clear the deck, and use it as a backup in case my big 2 stage snowblower fails. It works awesome. Especially on the deck, you can pick this machine up and carry it up the stairs no problem. The snow in this video is hard-packed and there was sleet coming down during filming. Is this engine still available?

How repair it?
What year is that motor u got
I hate new 25
Great little engine - I have the 1997 DT4 00402-753829 Very light at only 22Kg Also comes with built in fuel tank and large capacity external fuel tank which you can connect.. starts first time , every time ...
Now that's a cool looking machine. I have a tdub and that gauge panel is almost identical
👍
Good information thanks man
This and a 1985 kawasaki KX80 are the ones that I'm still on the lookout for! The era when 80cc bikes got serious.
Had one of these as a kid so smooth and quiet !!

Would have loved to see the boat. My first boat motor was a Suzuki, still got it and never had a problem. Suzuki is the best in my opinion
Talk about a freakin unicorn!!! Cant believe you sold it!!! I refuse to part with my 80cc bikes, 1978 Suzuki RM80C, 1980 Honda CR80R, and a 1981 YamahaYZ80H. My CR is a 9.5 out of 10, the YZ is a solid 8, and the RM will ultimately be a 10 (eventually lol). Im in MA as well! Beautiful KTM! Hopefully its still in this great shape!
Actually it went to a collector who was at the time restoring a Tiger 80 Three Wheeler! Sad that this machine got chopped up but the components went to a far more rare and special machine so I’m honestly ok with it. I do regret selling it but I owned it and rode it so I was able to experience it. Fun machine.
I just traded my 1995 Suzuki 25 hp that I owned for 27 yrs for a New 2022 Suzuki 25 hp Four Stroke. Old motor still ran fine.👍
Hi. I also have a KTM MX 80. I have a damaged clutch. Maybe you know where parts are available on the Internet? Greetings.
look at ktm 60 and 65sx from 1998 to 2007 the engine is almost the same
yo tengo una en restauracion pero no emcuentro piezas
I also have one and it’s almost finished
Buenas yo también tengo una y tampoco sé dónde encontrar algunas piezas
I've got one of these slapped on the back of a 1964 dyer midget, it is fun as all get out to putter around in but doesn't look half as nice as what you've got there

I have the same issue in my 91 3sgte. Did you find the problem?
My friend just gave me one of these little engines.. it’s been sitting in his garage since 1983.. wonder how hard it would be to get it running again
redo the carb, gas line, check for blockage in the tank, new spark plug, make sure it has spark, if no clean the points, thats about it
i have one got it free not working seven years ago, rebuilt the carb and ran every year until now, float was stuck as it poured fuel from carb, rebuilt carb again, doesnt run like it used to now, any idea where u hav the top and bottom needle valves (slow and hi speed rich and lean knobs) set at to start/run so good?
Those small 4hp and 6hp motors are worth their weight in gold. I have both and would never sell them. If you baby them and do proper maintenance you'll Have no problems.

He must’ve repainted that himself. Mine is a lot deeper/darker blue. Almost that good of shape, not quite though
I have one in this color, definitely original 😊
sounds like it took awhile before the lifters took oil.
Where can i find the rpm at the right side?
Yes. Left is speedo. And right is temp and tac. Hopefully this help
I got the water covering the blades in a bucket... still won't start, does the water have to be as high as yours to start?
And I'm assuming u have the choke pulled out all the way at first
@@vonnnov The water level shouldn’t have a huge effect on weather the engine starts. You need 3 things for the engine to run. Fuel, spark, and compression. If you have all 3, it should run. Also, I started my engine without choke most of the time. If its really cold, maybe one pull with choke, then I turn the choke off. For yours, it would depend on the condition of the engine / fuel system and how it is tuned.
@@Venomrs4 ty for the help, I bought a new spark plug, should I just look up "boat motor compression" to learn about it? Or is there a specific part I can just replace. Im familiar with spark plugs... not compression
This one is very nice! Want to sell it? : )
I had ancestors who lived here.
I having an issue turning mine on. Any advice?
I have the same problem can’t turn it on
Same, I have been trying for the last hour
I’m picking one up tomorrow, any issues
You should have to show by kickstarting
Throttle cable looks ready to break.
The first with perfect settings and a sound as it should be.
If you ever decide to let her go please get with me first that's a nice machine!
Kaletta
Do you have it mounted on a Coleman Scanoe?? If so how does it balance? I see you have someone up front for ballast. Can you ride alone with that motor?
thank you just now ordered mine from home depot. what kind of oil do you use and how much?
what mods do you have on that? and where can i get them?
Can do mods yourself. Dont bother with a can. Get a 2" holesaw and drill out baffle in your stock muffler. Notch the reed stoppers, take a layer or 2 depending on how fresh your motor is.. off of your headgasket. Little bit of clutch work and bam!!! Good to go. Check out totallyyamaha.net
@@hodgebone1 yep! Did that and the clutching and gearing and she’s been ripping strong for 10 yrs now!
Let me know, if you ever wanna sled those pipes
That lake was beautiful
DOES not seem like 600hp..
That’s a beautiful motor.
I just got one of these but I’m not sure what fuel ratio to run and what type of oil I was hoping you could help me out
I run 43:1. 3 ounces of oil per gallon of gas. Use a high quality 2 stroke oil.
how many minutes can i go with a full fuel tank? thanks
Depending on the throttle position. Full - about 45 min, half about 2-3hrs, depending on boat size and weight
How much? And where?
