G'day everyone, I'm Karen, an Aussie woman with a short attention span who likes to do a lot of different things. I'm in my 50s, happily single, and absolutely love the life I have created for myself.
If I'm not in my little office making CZcams videos, you'll find me in the garden, at the beach, or out walking for fun and fitness.
I live with Fibromyalgia and Social Anxiety. It's not a secret, I just don't talk about it very often.

    Oh I never thought to use to pull open soda cans My favorite little "extra" kitchen gadget is a standalone frother for my coffee. It's cute and pink, and you can use it to reheat your cup of coffee or tea. It's such a nice upgrade for mornings when I forget my coffee, since microwaving it is unpredictable!

Here in very rural Shropshire UK it’s 28C ( please don’t laugh 😆) and I’m upstairs hot, bothered and annoyed trying to put together an underbed drawer 🤔🤬 No idea how to fit a cam lock then …. there you were on CZcams with your straightforward, easy peasy demo.     Great video, shows the reality of using this nibbler once you get it home, and the traps to avoid for the average punter. Anyone who's used blunt crappy tin-snips will relate to your elation as it first takes off through the steel. Cheers....!

    I have the exact same fountain but mine came with four plastic see-through straws. Can you put the straws inside the holes around it and what it does is it keeps it from moving around so much. It keeps it centered.

      Definitely! It's quite thick so you'd need to ring it out tight to remove excess water (depending what the wall is made of). I already have a wall mop and it does a good job.

    I've purchased 2 different ones from Amazon stating NO China-made, but they sent me China-made anyway. So I tried them and they both failed. Had to fight hard to get my money back. Do you have solar panel fountain bumblers?

      I have a lot of large birds that use the baths. There are also shallow bird baths around the garden for smaller birds.

    I love winter! I like crunching across the frosty lawn on really cold days. I love that it does get dark earlier - makes me want to snuggle down and 'nest'. Really cold nights have a deep quietness to them which is a huge contrast to summer nights. I love soup, crockpot meals, hot chocolate and good old fashioned winter puds (golden syrup dumplings - yummmm) Just as well I live in Tassie - lol. I hope winter treats you kindly, Karen 😀

      We didn't have Winter last year! A couple cold, windy days here and there. But that's all. I didn't even swap from the Summer to the mid season doona! I'm trying to enjoy this Winter as a "novelty". It was nice to feel cooler but the first really bitter day we had (this day I filmed) had me feeling less excited about the rest of the season! 🤣

    100% agree re eating naughty things Karen. I'm a comfort eater too. One thing I find that works is don't eat a thing after 7pm at night. That's my danger time! Good luck Karen! Keep movin' 🚶‍♀️‍➡️🚶‍♀️‍➡️💪🏼

    I appreciate you putting this video out. I’ve been sitting around a lot too. I’ve been in a state of a bit of burnout from life. Although I’m growing a CZcams channel, I’m also working full time as a teacher and taking care of my family. I laughed when you mentioned not wanting to walk past the people!       Burnout. That's the perfect word! We all get it from time to time and it's so important to make time to rest and recover. I recently learned that I'm an Introvert (that was a surprise!) as well as having diagnosed Social Anxiety. It amazing, the lengths I sometimes go to, to avoid people. 🤣
