i shouldve went with this phone. i've had my S20 ultra for 5-ish months and its just...peeling apart. i tried making a zip file (internal folders to internal zip) to back up my files to upload to mega, and i got some kindaa "I/O Error". i didnt even think a phone could have an i/o error!

Camera zoom is not the best

Not helpful at all. 🤷‍♂️ Pretty much anyone can open an octa! No demonstration of using it to shoot and how it modifies light? Might as well watched a crap Rotolight add pop-up!

Not the best because it doesn’t switch on automatically when connected to a camera or device like Rode video pro plus. Even with the best sound quality, camera people can forget to switch on when critical things are being filmed in a rainforest or other unrehearsed setting. If only there was auto switching and a detachable wire and a special battery it would seem far more user friendly.

This and the classic Zeiss 85mm f/1.4 are for me the best 85’s ever produced for DSLR and now mirrorless camera. Otus of course is class on its own. There are some fast 85 primes out there with slightly better sharpness but when comes to overall rendering and colour reproduction, nothing comes close to Zeiss.

Great review... but sadly after two years my monitor has a ghost touching the soundbar it keeps changing the volume or muting the sound without touching the soundbar...

6 minutes before we get to see how the camera performs. Which means there’s 6 minutes to talk about all the buttons and switches that all lomo instant cameras have. Get on with it already dude. We know the basics. How does does it perform? What do the pictures look like? You can’t scan them in? Ugg. Sorry man. This could have been a much better crafted video then just standing in the woods talking for ten minutes.

How do I access the thermal imaging? MyFLIR isnt showing up in the programmable button menu.

Its a panasonic camera. You can dress it as much as you like but getting the zs100 or zs200 will get you the same camera for a third of the price. Surprised Leica did this. Its like Lamborghini making a cheap budget runabout......its not ON.

I've thought about trading it in on an M11, but the nearest Leica store in Rancho Mirage, CA wouldn't give me what I thought my M10-R was worth. They weren't close. Plus, I like having the traditional removable base plate - which the M11 doesn't have. Unless the M12 is truly remarkable, I'll have my M10-R until I die.

something is strange with this handset because I tried to sell the 8/256 version only a few week old mint condition to a well known recycle company I entered my IMEI number and was quoted £213 but it showed the 6/128 version mine was the 8/256 the IMEI was correct /same I sent it in but I received an email a few days later and I got offered £40!!!!! the email read this ??? The item we received was: Honor Magic 5 Lite 256GB full value of £40.00 You Placed an Order for Honor Magic 5 Lite 128GB full value of £213.00 how can there be £170 difference on the same handset but larger storage and ram!!!! how can this be anyone any ideas??? with IMEI correct?

Update: If you leave the AA batteries in the transmitter packs there is noticeable vampire drain. Oddly enough the reciever pack doen't have this issue. Just my experience.

Why the unnecessary loud af music though?

If I want to film walk tour, product reviews where I will have my commentary too and not always in front of the camera, maybe I will say something behind the camera in the walk tour too and I want to experiment and try to make music with singing and instrument and with a with a Panasonic HC-X1500 camcorder, does the MKE 440 still for me or I need an omnidirectional microphone? Or use that 440 with another rear facing microphone? Can I use 2 of them with one face to the rear and use adaptor to combine 2 into the 3.5mm jack to become a surround sound combo? Is the Sony A10 recorder needed for some of these situation or I can use it as rear mic and voice over? That camcorder has an optional handle with LED and 2 XLR inputs but it will make the setup a lot taller even before add the mics, is XLR necessary and will I able to use the XLR handle as music inputs and recorder? Can the 440 do it all or better get a second or even a third mic, like the 440 and another bi-directional mic when I need to talk to the camera and a music mic? If I talk to the above of 440 from behind when it's point to the front, can my voice still be recorded clearly or I really need another mic? How about when I not in the camera, I place myself in between the item on the table and the 440 which is further behind so I can record what's on the table and also my voice without need another mic? I like the unique shape of the 440 and the wider and stereo option compare to standard shotgun mic but I not sure why people and camcorder with handle seem expect you to use standard shotgun mic and not stereo mic if they are outside

Don't buy this rubbish. Is the worst phone ever. The camera is the worse part, it's takes seconds to take a picture and is so unclear and foggy. 2013 phone not 2023.At first you think it's fine but after a month of use you'll regret you waisted your money on this.

the design on this really is nice and the brightness is pretty ok all these devices over 1000 nits to be honest are nice but they dim down after a few minutes if not less I have had so many do this the peak brightness should be taken with a pinch of salt.....just like RMS and PMPO......in sound........;) 1600 and 1700 nits etc just time how long these stay at this level for in direct sunshine......... I think donor did a nice job I only use the close up macro lens I don't take super sonic pictures and the snap dragon 600 series as well as a 5100 battery to have a phone that lasts all day without me having to carry a power bank strapped to my back well.....its worth the trade off to be honest it reminds me of the phones I owned back in the very early 2000 I am growing tired of modern phones draining the battery like a ticking bomb and it over heating. and ive always been a flagship buyer......says it all really even for me ;) I have just sold my pixel 7 and bought the magic 5 lite again (this time the 8/256 version I previously had 6/128.......the pixel devices are nothing but buggy as hell!!! its a bit much when Samsung ONEUI has far less bugs and has a more pleasurable experience than googles offering! good review ;)
