Zhiyun Crane M3 Review: A Completely New Genre of Gimbal?

Behold! The all-new Zhiyun Crane M3 gimbal. Next up for our test bench treatment in #TheMeasure.
Whilst this new gimbal from the company that could be argued to be DJI's closest competitors, may appear as a smartphone-only stabiliser, surprisingly, Zhiyun appears to have created an entirely new genre of gimbal with this model. It's super-small and, sure, can certainly be used to hold a mobile phone, but it also has the heft to hold a surprisingly large camera body and lens, too.
This is a stabiliser that's been designed for vloggers but is also impressively capable in terms of its possible payload and the sheer number of clever and innovative features and functions that we can see in the model. It's a real cracker and we're super impressed to see where Zhiyun is going with their R&D.
