The medical name of a facelift is also called a rhytidectomy and a neck lift is called a Platysmaplasty and a Lower eyelid surgery, also known as lower blepharoplasty.
The facelift removes sagging skin and corrects muscle laxity. Platysmaplasty: The medical term for a neck lift, which removes excess skin and fat from the neck, tightens the platysma muscle, and reduces the banded appearance of the neck.
Platysmaplasty, also known as a neck lift, is a cosmetic plastic surgery procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the neck and tightens the platysma muscle. It can help reverse age-related changes like sagging skin, loose neck cords, and excess fat, and can also help with sagging skin caused by weight loss.

looking good, but you still have a good amount of swelling, after about 3 months itll settle down by like 80%. really takes a full year to see final result. good luck
I do have swelling in my neck and face, It will take a full yr to completely heal. I do agree. The first 2 -3 is just getting through recovery for me. I still need to wear the compression bandage for 8 weeks. Thank you for sharing your info

Great progress. Tell us more about the work you are in. You mentioned acting and auditions. I'm sure many people want to hear about that. Do you do movies and TV shows? Where are these movies available to watch if they are smaller and independent?
I used to do auditions 30 yrs ago and landed some local commercials, lot of background local commercials. Then there were independent movies 5 or 6 horror movies, I acted in. Fast forward to the last few yrs, I was a background actor in a made-for-TV movie. This yr, I am in an independent movie, in which I have a few speaking roles in, It is called, JUST MY LUCK AGAIN. It should be on streaming. I can share more about it as I learn more.
actually i just noticed you have great skin, wonder if you wore a sunscreen your whole life, i was gonna say another ingredient that tigntens up your skin is eggwhites, put an eggwhite on your face and youd be surprised how tight your face gets, but it does leave a funny looking film on the skin.
I have had facial chemical peels done on my skin and I used Retin=A on my skin for yrs. I don't sunbathe in the sun, but I did love the sun when I was young. My mom has tried egg whites before on her face. I remember her putting egg white on her face and it tightened the face. Now, then make skin-tightening creams you can buy.

Thank you for following my journey and I do hope some of my information helps you make the best decision for yourself. I get many positive reviews, but surgery is a serious and expensive procedure, so I do want to be helpful.

gotta ignore the haters, we all have them in our lives. dont waste your time and energy, not worth it. but your looking a lot better m most of the brusing is gone, 10 days is the magic number when you face starts to adhere around the edges, it took almost a year for all the swelling to go down when i had mine. but your a great looking guy, this is the age of aquarius, everyone will become there own unique self. the great awakening. good luck with your healing
I do ignore the haters and realize most people of kind. Yet, I do want haters to know, that I do not appreciate it hate messages when I am trying to inform others about my journey through post-operative healing. It is helpful information for others.

Your in your 50's and look better then most people in their 30's and your still recovering that's probably why you're getting hate. I've had hereditary eye bags my whole life and always hated them because it completely changes my appearance. It got to the point where I didn't want to look in mirror anymore or go out just because of some stupid hereditary eye bags. It was controlling my life. I'm getting the surgery next week to remove them and don't care what anyone thinks anymore. Just exited to get rid of them. Why not take advantage of the times we live in? What's the point of being miserable because of my eyebags when I can just go to dr.s office for hour or two and have them removed. At the end of the day you can't worry about what other people think you have to do what makes you happy. You only live once.

I've had a few procedures, I'm trans so I had a hair transplant near the temples. I'm 40 now and would like to get a few things done but my trust is utterly broken. I went to a supposed trans feminisation specialist in the UK because another trans girl recommended them, but they butchered my face, I try not to think about it as it gives me panic attacks, they put in badly placed cheeck implants and couged out part of my jaw. I think they did a lovely job on you and you look great, healing very fast too.
I am so sorry to hear that your past feminization procedure outcome left you unhappy, and utterly broken as well as panic attacks. Do you ever have plans to correct what you are NOT happy from want you underwent? Can it be corrected? I had a lot of emotions to do this procedure at my age. I was having back and forth thoughts the day of procedure, but I knew my Dr had 30 yrs of facial cosmetic and reconstructive experience. I laid my faith in his hands. Yet, I am healing so well, that I'm amazed at this journey of healing. Also, thank you for sharing your storey and comments. There are many other's who with follow through with procedures like we have some may be negative and positive. This is my last facelift, necklift. I don't want to do this again. I may do a lite chemical peel in the future, but No more going under the knife for me for cosmetic elective surgery. Thank you again for follow me.

You look great for 6 days post op. I will have my deep plane facelift and other procedures in a month's time. I'm excited. I am turning 41 but since I lost a lot of weight and also genetics play a big part, I know I definitely need this procedure. Life is too short.

I'm just curious as you're a makeup expert. Is it recommended not to put any on your face during this healing process?
I am not a makeup expert, just a novelist or just a hobby at face painting. You can not wear any makeup while you have stitches in at all. it could become infected. So, NO makeup at all until you are healed from the surgery.

You don't look 57 at all, you look about half that age. Maybe 30. Have you had a hair transplant too, or are you just lucky with your hair genetics?
Thank you for the nice compliment. I did have a hair transplant about 20 yrs ago, but it was only on the upper both sides of the temples. The rest of my hair is all my natural full hair. You can check my channel for the hair transplant videos, which was done yrs ago.
Once it's healed and you're comfortable to go outside, what are you looking forward to doing again?

Looks like it's healing quickly. Another week or two, and the bruises will be almost gone. It's amazing how quickly the body heals.
I feel like I am healig quickly. I feel the same way in less than 2 weeks the bruising will subside and the swelling with be much improved. One day at a time. Thank you for your kind comments.
That must have been tough getting them all done at once but probably better that way so you can be done with it. You are definitely right about the Peter Thomas Roth Eye creme. I Have Been using it for about a year on my under eye bags and it is a life saver. It instantly tightens the skin and gets rid of the eye bags tell you wash it off. I still can't believe how good it works.
It was just long enough, about 4 hrs. Much cheaper to do them in one setting or you continue to pay for the in-office surgery room.

Did you just have a fac lift or a neck lift? I constantly wear the velcro support strap when I am home and sleep in it. this helps with swelling.
@@HansMoorefacepaint ı did both lıke you did accually , today ı realize ıt got better . I dont wear the strap anymore ıtwas so paınfull for me cuz ı had jaw bone surgery before as well so ıt lıterally gave so much pressure to my jaw
@@EllieBabalik I hope you are healing very well. Jaw bone surgery is more invasive, I see why you could not wear the pressure strap. I am not that swollen in the neck area, just bruising. I have been wearing my stretch strap for for 6 days. I also sleep in it. I will share more in my journey videos. When did you have your facelift and necklift? Did you also have lipo on your neck?

i had a facelift when i was 35, im now 60 and would love to get a cheek jowl lift. i looked good for about 25 yrs but the last 5 its like what the hell is happening to my face lol. good luck with your surgery , i remember my face stayed numb for close to a year and theres still swelling in the cheeks even after a yr later but its subtle , take care.
I good face lift can last about 20 to 25 yrs, but the aging just creeps up very quickly at a certain age when the body stars slowing down and does not reproduce collagen and elastin fibers in the skin anymore. It happens quickly in your 50's..

Thanks for these uploads and documenting your journey. I've had bags under my eyes since highschool. It's hereditary I think because everyone on my mom's side of family has undereye bags. It's super annoying to deal with. All you can do is try to hide them. Didn't even know it was a common surgery people get tell I started researching how to get rid of them. I use a cannon camera on a tripod with on board mic with 3 point lighting. Works well for my videos. Thanks you very much

I have no idea. I think there were 3 or 4 of these Zombie movies. it was a long time ago.

You were already good looking with the other surgeries. Why did you get a face lift? You didn't even need one
Thank you for the kind words. I had puffy lower eyelids and my neck was sagging or called banding. The face lift is the only way to correct a needed neck lift.

@@livsstilen i remember the delta lift, did you use the same surgeon as the delta lift or a different dr
