1800 acre State Park, with a Pete Dye trail golf course and mountain bike/hiking trails. Phenomenal restaurants of all kinds snd live theatre witthin 20 minutes, great schools (best Spanish immersion program in the country), and a lot of diversity. Bike trails go all the way to downtown Indy on the fall creek Greenway. You obviously missed the cultural campus.

Make sure you're packing. Crime here is crazy here

Bought in mccordsville, love the town. Annexed into fishers with higher taxes but the area is the best of indy we think, Geist is a great area.

My deceased husband and I lived/worked in Indy for 8 years. He died there never even getting listed for a much-needed new liver. Misogyny, price gouging, lying governors, 40k homeless constantly literally being bussed out of the metro and city area out to CORN FIELDS!!! CORRUPTION and worse. Republican at it's lowest. Dumb hillbillies masquerading as adults. I hold several science degrees and was hired by the State AG as a computer specialist and told to train 2 very young bimboes with no expertise, so the AG could continue questionable practices while I was expected to move bookshelves and lift soda cases around---at the age of 50. Top law offices run by cocaine users (I witnessed the 'smorting" myself). Great place to live for corporate criminals/junkies. Same holds true for their juvenile justice systems. Boy School shut down by Mike Pence"s predecessor. Lovely!!!

Greenfield is great. Bought a house hear 3 years ago. I’m 31 and I moved from 25th and post on the city’s east side. Best decision I’ve made.

If you think big cities like NYC and LA are fun I got news for you they aren't. Unless you are made of money all you will do is work to pay bills. Also Covid wrecked these cities. New York and LA are not the places they used to be prior to the pandemic.

Doesn't look any worse than any big city in America. Philadelphia and Chicago are worse in terms of crime. Any big city has bad parts.

Contrary to the video, how long summer days are and short winter ones are has nothing to do with Indiana’s longitude (east-west position) and everything to with latitude (north-south position). If you’re from further north than Indianapolis, the seasonal difference in day length will seem less pronounced. I’m from part of the UK that’s as far north as Winnipeg, Canada, so I doubt I’ll be surprised by the day lengths when I visit Indianapolis this summer.

During the holidays it’s unbearable. Been here 19 yrs on a scale of 1-10 it’s a 8 .. low low crime . Most excitement you’ll get is trying to sneak home from Britton tavern after hours 😂😂😂😂😂😂

You can easily get around Greenwood (south of Indianapolis). But only M-F. 7 AM to 4PM. Its called Access Indiana & has regular routes down to Franklin Indiana.

You're right next to my apartment complex (Sunblest Apts) 😅. I've been living in Fishers for 5 years. Originally from San Diego, moved to eastide Indy 🥴 for 2 years and then Fishers for the last 5. Love Fishers! Very family oriented, school system is top tier, safer and housing is affordable. We're actually closing on a house May 31st 😁. It's a 6 mins drive north of where you're at in this vid. I'm sure the OG's of Fishers dont like the growth, but times have changed. It is what it is. Either you accept it or move somewhere like Noblesville where it's less people and change.

Wow, what are the chances you posted this video 1 hour ago, and I just found out I am moving to Indianapolis. Thank you for the video! Sounds like Fishers received the same treatment as my hometown of Apex, North Carolina, south-west of Cary and Raleigh. Population of 16,000 when we moved there in 1998, and now it ramped up to 72,000. Little back roads now jammed up and a lot of pretty trees clear-cut to add massive population congestion. Much less majestic from when I was a kid.

Just like Carmel - I used to live in Carmel some 20+ yrs ago, after that I lived in NJ, PA, CA and just about 6 yrs ago I came back to Indiana(polis) area - just for the heck of it, I drove to Carmel to see my old home - Carmel was unrecognizable, and so was Fishers and Zionsville - don't like any of these towns anymore ...

I moved from Indianapolis to Fishers a year and a half ago. I have to say everything that's going on in Fishers is all for the best I like the change it's definitely more quiet and less chaotic than Indianapolis is. I do understand that these changes will bring a higher cost of living for the city that some people may not be able to afford. But this is what's needed for the city to thrive in the future we can't be stagnant.

I moved to Avon from New Jersey last year and I would have never thought traffic would be bad in Indiana. I was so wrong! 36 is a nightmare during rush hour. It would sometimes take me 45 mins to an hour just to get to Indianapolis for work. With all that being said, I absolutely love living in Avon, the schools are fantastic and everything you need is literally 5 mins away. The trains could be pretty loud sometimes but eventually you get used to it. Compared to NJ the cost of living is so much less. My wife and kids always feel safe whenever I leave for work and you can’t put a price on that. The local YMCA is incredible as well. Avon is an overall great place to lay down roots and live. But I can see why people wouldn’t want to deal with the traffic on 36. Great video!

I ran across this. This has been a long time ago. Avon has gotten rough hate living here. It's not like it used to be been living here 27 years getting ready to get the hell out.
