- Why some people won't move to Fishers, Indiana... Fishers, Indiana is by most accounts are super solid place to live. Relatively affordable (compared to many other parts of the country), safe, highly rated schools, a nice community for families, plenty of things to do, great proximity to Indianapolis, Carmel, Noblesville, and the list can go on. However, the list is subjective. Obviously even though a city ranks high on those items it may not be for everyone.
Over the years we've had a huge number of clients choose Fishers, Indiana as their place to live. Others... have chosen other places. When they choose another place over Fishers they usually have good reasons. The reasons we discuss in this video are usually the items that are a little more unreasonable or severe in my eyes. But, I've heard these from people.

I was just in Indy last weekend, moving there soon bringing you all Wawa! Jasons videos were 100% of my reasearch in finding a place. We looked at Fishers and Carmel, and they were nice, but theres too much retail there for me, too "peopley" lol. Decided on Brownsburg, but never would have looked there without Jasons videos. Cant wait to use him as my realtor when my family is ready this summer.

Great video. Can you please tell me how expensive is rent the in Indianapolis at this moment? A Studio or a 1Bed apartment? I currently live in Miami Fl, and down here the rent is very expensive, almost "mission impossible." Thank you.
Depends on the area of course, but I’d say the average rent down here is around $2000 to $6000+ depending on how nice it is and where it is
Horrible traffic
The west side is so much better. Many options with parks, the library, and farmers market. I walk to Holland Park daily from my house. Closer to Carmel which is way more desirable than Fortville...

Since you are a nurse, and you have children, I will have to say Brownsburg (lots of medical/hospital facilities, fantastic schools), Danville (lots of medical facilities), or Carmel (good schools). Although overall, I believe you would do best in Brownsburg.

How is the school in Fishers?
Really highly rated, big school. I got a buddy who went there and loved it. He even stayed at hamilton south eastern after his family moved to noblesville.
No malls, floods, old ugly stores
