Dorman sells these orange rubber bushing things, but it didn't really seem to do much for me. Are those in the original OEM, or just an aftermarket patch kind of thing? Also, in my F250, the spring action that controls the fore/aft movement of the lever seems to be weak, like you need to manually push it forward after changing gears sometimes. What controls that? Great video BTW.

Be extra careful with the rivets, they will scratch the after market tint off of your glass and I used the size rivet he stated.

Tip for the outer large snap ring that I did immediately after removing them for the first time. I ground down the outer edge of the ring at an angle to make the ends like a sloping triangle to create a small gap between the end of the ring and hub housing. I can now use any small screwdriver or pick to pop those out in a second.

I've got a 91 bronco with a 5.0 your videos have been instrumental in my restoration of it! And I've got a couple of questions because I'm down to 3 things left, paint, tires and exhaust. 1- what's the biggest tires that I can go with 15" rims without modifying stock suspension? 2-my exhaust and muffler just fell out a week ago while driving lol, I wanna run dual exhaust do I need catalytic converters and O2 sensors with this old of an EFI or can I scrap that and run without? For those wondering, this does not apply to all OBS trucks. My 97 f250 HD manual transmission non-airbag non-tilt powerstroke calls for an almost completely different method for steering wheel removal. Just saying for those who are confused.
