does it smell as good as klotz super techniplate?
I hope this worked for you - I use only ford parts
I soooooo hope it’s going to be that easy on my 2018 Raptor….thank you!!!
its always cool to see what other aviation mechanics are rocking
management appeasement pads lmao
thanks for the american translation, mine just started doing this and it was the exact same issue haha
Nice and quick, dead on. Thanks for sharing.
Straight to the point and Clear directions thank you man
My clutch is grabby, do I have to replace the basket or will changing the frictions plates and clutch plates maybe be enough? 2011 yz250f
Have a look at the basket tangs for grooves. Usually thats what will cause it
I never tried Klotz oil. I been using Lucas 2 stroke oil mix. I mix it for my banshee, dirt bikes, chainsaw, leaf blower, and RC plane. I’ve had really good luck with it. But I still wanted to check your review on Klotz. Good video. thank you
I quit riding dirt.... They out priced the avg. Rider.... I can go on and on how they rip us off....
Good vid! But how can I tell if a tool is good? Snap On is top of the heap, but does it fit the fasteners better, or maybe the points don’t wear down? How can a newb evaluate a less expensive tool for value?
So I have a question , if you bend the throttle cable forward will it start moving on its own without being on the petal since it’s technically getting more throttle ?
I had this exact same problem on my 2014 f150. Thank you for sharing!!
I've been dealing with this small rattle at low rpm's for about six months now... all winter long. Mine would do it when pulling away from a stop; and also when you are describing. Dropping my daughter off at school in the morning was the best. Sitting in that line, moving a foot at a time... and rattling the entire time. I never would have guessed it would be a $5 fix (new O-clamp) and about five minutes of my time. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
I mainly noticed it in the timmys drive thru, 1 hose clamp later shes mint.
Thanks for uploading this great tutorial, it really makes life easier.
Thank you bro!!! This video saved my life!
Piston at tdc?
Doesn’t matter where it is in the stroke. The whole cylinder will get filled with the same pressure. A piston and rings aren’t air tight
Not in the bike game anymore body is to beat and broken these days but ive been running this stuff in all my saws for years and they all seem to love it
My yz 125 can’t burn it, any ideas
you don't really see many fords broken down! has this thing been rode hard n put away wet???
Nope, I drive it like an old man.
"Im not an avionics guy" - every AP ever 😂

Thank you so much for this. I was about to give up on mine, but i kept at it; heat and wd40. Over and over. Finally i got the crack and it's moving! I actually broke the first threaded rod in mine!
Dang, must have been quite the battle! Glad I could help
Where’s your Mac and snap-ons , and you fix aircraft. Lol
There’s some there but ya not much! I take it you’re the guy who has a tool truck balance and not a clue how to actually fix anything you work on?
Thank you mine was the manifold heat shield on the passenger side, your description of the problem was very helpful! I must have spent an hour trying to find the source, after watching your video it only took me about 2 minutes to find it!
Nice to see Gray Tools there! Proudly Canadian🇨🇦
Just bought a kx450 that dropped a valve. Was "rebuilt" by prev. Owner, im guessing this was the culprit too. Didnt replace the tensioner when he was messing around in there. Thanks for saving me some money$$. For sure going manual.
I’m tracking down the issues for my company’s 2014 f150 wt pest control truck. 220,000 abused miles on her and tons of issues
finally a Canadian AME channel
What was the giveaway?
Would replacing these tensioners prevent the dreaded "death rattle" from developing?
Just bought a 2006 CRF 70 today and came across you video. Bought it for 700 has a slight knock but guy already purchased all the parts for the rebuild but he didnt want to do it himself and all the quotes were over 2k by mechanics. So now im gonna use this video to do it myself. great video!!
Eeesh 2k to fix a lil 70…. Shameful! You’ll have it right as rain for a smoking deal
What’s a ferd
You know, like Henry Ferd but without the Henry
What kind of motor stand is that? I need to buy one Thanks
Motorsport Products is the brand, you can find them all over. I just happened to get mine on Ebay
Your timing guides are probably destroyed. So that means have fun removing the engine to replace the all of them. There are two cartridge style, 1 for each head and then one for the lower main chain, then one for the balance shaft if you have one.
Thank you so much sir! Not only have you saved me probably hundreds if not thousand inside some dealership, but you made it so easy. Please please please if you have anymore problems with your truck, don’t hesitate to make a video. Some of us are truly thankful and grateful for your time.
How much would you charge to do this job?
Depends if I like you or not- $300 cad roughly
Makes sense!
Wow i was expecting more specialized tools im glad to see i have most of this stuff if not all of it.
I really appreciate this Video! We’re going to do a rebuild this weekend, and this will be my step-by-step guide 🙏
6:16 i’d put something over that crank case hole, just in case that pin flies out and falls in there. Great video by the way thank you!
Ya you never want crank them down, you mess up the threads you got a big issue can cause a very bad leak torque spec is 35 ft
Accidentally had 6 drinks. Oooops. Took longer than expected.
I thing my timing chain is short because it is pain in ass to put it back on cam properly
I replaced both of these on my 2020 and it still has the heat shield noise.
Then your heat shield is probably broken on the side you don’t see or you’ve missed something. Get back under there!
@@lonb00 It turned out to be a cracked flex plate and my truck is going in the shop on Tuesday morning.
Did your Noco charger give you any issues in cold cold? I bought one yesterday and read that they quit at -20 so I just laid it under the hood and plugged it in overnight(-35). It wasn't charging this morning, so I'm curious if maybe your battery blanket throws enough heat to keep the charger above -20?
Yup mine has been working this cold snap, popped the hood this morning at -37 after having it plugged in all night. Had a green charged light, battery was by no means warm to the touch but it sure wasn’t ambient temperature either
@@turdpike Interesting. Mine had the error light yesterday morning and I had to boost my F150. I bought a battery warmer and put it on yesterday, then strapped the charger to the outside of the electric battery blanket and it charged all night last night. Good call on the battery blanket.
what can you do when the seats for the bearings are worn down?
Get safety wire pliers. No one has time or need to mess around with manual. You will be laughed at in the field.
I know this is an old video but if anybody could respond would be much appreciated. Did you have to put it on top dead center before removing the tensioners? Thank you for
Thank you so much for the video! Super helpful with my training.
