      Not that long....It's used to generate speed out of the start gate. If you get 3 gates out of it you're doing well!

    Try the Dalbello Panterra (or a similar 3-piece boot) with the Intuition wrap liner. Less pinch points than tradition ski boot liners.

    Heel lifts can constrict the nerves in the foot when pressing against the ski boot tongue - this damage can take a long time to heal.

    I've found pads like this come off as you repeatedly remove & replace the liner in the boot after each use. Is there anything you can do to stop this?

      i bought butterflies here in germany. they told me to also fix the butterfly with strong duct tape. i didnt try yet but maybe this helps a bit

      Do you have any snow built up under the heel of your boot? This can cause this issue. Have you made sure there is the correct distance from the back of the boot and the heel cup when the boot is engaged?

    Oh, that's easy. The sales rep at Atomic was trying to convince me that only a "boot technician" could do this, and that "they will need to be grinded" (didn't specify if they meant the boot or the heals and toes).

    Bought these last weekend and it’s the first time in 10 years that my toes weren’t frozen! Easy to use, not sure what other commenters were talking about. I charged them up overnight and used them the next day. It was -12 on the mountain and they kept my toes nice and warm the entire day. Let’s see how they handle Banff in February, but December in Whistler was great.

      They test each unit at the factory for correct operation and temperature. They use a clear stick for that test. So not "pre-loaded", but still some left from the testing.

      fully agree...not worth one dollar. because not connection between akku and mobile possible...terrible app application. Fit on foot very painful in the area of the ball of the foot in front...better not buy. there are really better ones on market for half of the price...

    Well my boots werent tight and I didn’t have a heel lift and when i tightened my leg went numb so i they weren’t tight and i broke my leg. Tiba and fibula right above the ankle. So make sure ur boots are set up because I ignored all the comments. And also make sure ur bindings are set too because a serious injury can also happen. So be careful. Stay safe out there.

    Can you install more than one set of threaded inserts to a pair of skis (without weakening them), so you can experiment between centre mounted and forward mounted binding positions?

      Yes, you just need decent separation between the holes (i.e. 10+mm)

    I'm using the 1700 boot heaters. Frequently loses Bluetooth connectivity to battery. I no longer see the battery level in the app. What is the point of paying for the Bluetooth feature if it doesn't work. PLEASE FIX! Can't find a manual or help. Link in app and Google search links for FAQ and User Guide just go to the main page. Are you supporting the app? Like others I paid good money for this feature, I feel like I'm being ripped off.     Can u place the heat element beneath the costum insoles as well? Not hawing to cut and glue on top of them. I guess the boot liner will prevent the heat from escaping through the bottom, heating the insole from beneath. Ever tried this?

      I just installed one insole and tried it. I don't think under the insole would be effective - maybe in a very closed boot where all heat stays in. My tip is to find a very thin but robust insole and use over your preferred usual one, it's of course a little bit bulkier but it worked for my shoes.
