Was just reminded of this had never seen video of it... never seen a tornado, just a funnel cloud one time that didn't touch down.
I was a child when I attended this game many years ago and remember it from terrifying perspective. The crowds outside of the stadium disregarded evacuation procedure and pushed me away where I became separated from my parents. I was lightly battered by panicked masses until I was picked up by a kind woman and carried back to my parents. It so happened that same woman lived in our local area in our state and became my pediatrician shortly after we got home. It was scary situation, but it must of happened for that reason.

Being born in Terre Haute, Indiana Bobby Knight will always be my favorite basketball coach. The last undefeated division 1 team that won the NCAA basketball championship was the 1976 Indiana Hoosiers coaches by Bobby Knight. I love being from Terre Haute, Indiana.

We've won absolutely nothing since we fired Bobby. He was basically the entire program. Miss that man even with all his demons. Glad we finally hired one of his former players with Woodson though.
Well they did win a Regional Title and went to the Final Four and National Championship Game in 2002. Sure it's not the ultimate prize but it's kind of close.

Is Dick Vitale a nut? Maybe he'll change his tune when he feels Knight's hands around his neck? Knight should have been banned from basketball coaching after Indiana. I hate saying it because I used to root big time for him and the Hoosiers back in the 70s and 80s but you have to shake the nuts out of the coaching tree and get normal people in there from now on. Its asd because I think that Knight could coach great wiithout being abusivee, but he made the choice to be a jerk.

I've got to admit, whoever made that shot to put the game into overtime probably didn't realize at the time that he saved over thousands of lives. And If I was there, I would run as fast as I could to the bathroom. I also like when everybody stood up and tried to leave when they heard the tornado.
