I had so much trouble with that small seal on the output shaft. Finally I bought a Lisle seal puller 58430, ground the tip down to about half its original size so it could fit under the lip of that tiny seal, then it worked like a charm.

Made a rake and ripper for mine. Rake is 30 inches wide and leaves allot of dirt behind. My thumb works great with it since I custom built it. Not sure what that rake and extension cost ya but for all the steel plasma cut it was $400.00 but I did all the assembling and welding. I have a TAG coupler on my Bobcat so it was a little more work to fab the attachment point. NICE job!!!!!

As those bikes age out and sell cheap, the 107s make great donor motors for other bikes. Go through them, re cam for the intended use and they are a smooth motor with plenty of grunt. I’ve put them in FXRs to baggers and they are the best part of that era of bikes. If you find someone parting out or a wreck, grab those old 107s, you won’t be sorry. Most are low mile, although some have been flogged pretty hard, still, a quick rebuild most of the time and updated cam and you’ll love it.

Good morning 🌅, some nice timber there, I had similar issues with a tree that was on the embankment of my river, it fell across the river and was hung up in the trees opposite, it took three of us two days to cut it and clear it, stay safe, France.

Had a few big ones like that come down as well. Very heavy when they are alive. They do make nice lumber.

And one more thing, NEVER USE POWER TOOLS ON THE END, you clean out the threads, use a torque wrench or pull gently by hand, it doesn't take much to break the threads! 1 kilo is enough

next time punch a mark and drill a smal hole in that seal, because when you tapp in like that you risk damage the bearing that support the mainshaft

When a metal wedge keep bouncing out put some water on the tip and stick it in the dirt or sand and it will not bounce out.

Question for you, any advice on finding out what fasteners I should use for a 1956 Cadillac ? My stainless came loose in the trunk, like yours did ! Looks lke my car got painted somewhat half assed and never put back together. That's where I come in, installing a rebuilt engine from a 62. Get it running, then make it pretty !. I see your car is already pretty !

Street Rod magazine or hot rod, years ago, had an article about polishing stainless and aluminum. Three different compounds and a buffing wheel on polishing wheel (like a grinder, but slower RPM). It does amazing work and brings it back. FWIW.

Bro, help me TFk out, pretty please. 03 Dyna Wide Glide with factory front controls. Want to switch to mids. Inner primary housing doesn't have hole thru for new mids gear shifter. Ok, I understand this. Found a good used inner with the shift shaft in it. Do I just buy this and swap inners? Can I drill out the hole on my existing inner? Then just add the new gasket and shift lever tube? The hole placement is on the inner casing of existing, but it's not drilled thru housing. What say you?
