Using the recently modified Stihl MS261 and the old Ford 8N tractor to clean up this Poplar blowdown. A friend took the but logs to saw for lumber.
Thanks for watching.

Had a few big ones like that come down as well. Very heavy when they are alive. They do make nice lumber.
The lumber is beautiful! Wish I had a mill. Thanks
Good morning 🌅, some nice timber there, I had similar issues with a tree that was on the embankment of my river, it fell across the river and was hung up in the trees opposite, it took three of us two days to cut it and clear it, stay safe, France.
That sounds way more interesting than ours , and a lot of work. Really appreciate you leaving a comment, and thanks for watching. Take care.
@@dirtgreaseoutdoorpeace6637 Good morning 🌅, I have had a few issues with trees, one was starting to lean badly across a footpath and towards my next door neighbour, as it was hollow inside so I put a electric winch on it, and put back on towards my property, when came over it disintegrated,
Then I had one that was on the side of my river, it had grown up so high it was over the top of 25,000v cables , the electric company came out and cut it down, they had to turn the power off, I thought that they were going to let me finish it, when it was below the cables, but they tried to drop it on my land, they missed big time, It went into the river again, I wanted to put my winch on it so I could put it away from the river, I have turned a 30 x 20 , fruit bowl as a gift for a friend who lives back in the uk , O the Joys of Living alone in the French countryside,
Stay safe, France
Might as well get the chainsaw out and commenst to cuttin'
Yes 🙌🏼
Thanks for watching!
