FIRE CHRISTINE DUFFY AND JOHN HEALD - JOSH WEINSTEIN GROW A PAIR - All the problems with Carnival are due to the epic failures of 2 individuals - These shameless people lack the leadership, vision or the ability to address the problems with Carnival and its poor brand image - The old, outdated and useless John Heald and their VP Christine Duffy who is in this role only because she is woman. She is an utter shame to all woman leaders. The CEO of Carnival Corporation and the boss of Stephanie Duffy, Josh Weinstein is simply not a leader and will not hold these people accountable. He is a yes man - he has good leaders with Princess Cruises and some of the other lines and they are doing well. Carnival continues to be dug into the hole by Christine Duffy and John Heald and he simply stand and watches like an imbecile whose nuts have been chopped away. BTW - It is funny you mentioned the comment about what your reaction would have been if this was your first Carnival cruise ever. It actually happened to me when I sailed with Carnival for the first time on Carnival Vista back when the ship was broken and Christine Duffy was shamelessly sending emails to cruises literally hours before boarding week after week lying to them that the ship had just suddenly developed issues and will be unable to sail at full speed but they have teams working onboard. The shameless woman lied for almost 9 months before the ship was finally drydocked for repairs.

Nice ships but unfortunately Ive been having troubles with Royal Caribbean. I have 5 cruises booked for this following year and I wanted to change one of them to another date but Royal Caribbean wants to charge me an extra $200 for a simple change. I thought insurance would cover for changes. This cruise doesn't sail until next year. NCL does my changes with no questions ask. What a way to treat loyal customers.

I have no experience in working 😔 on a cruiseship. I have a BA and Masters degree and a good resume. I live in NY and I apply but the titles of the jobs seem very complex and specific and i never hear a word back whatsoever. And no i dont have any bad ba kgrkubd stuff .How do I break that cycle of never hearing back? Also do they care if you have any outstanding tickets or parking tickets as a requirement? Do they care if you have one tiny visable tattoo? What state or states do you need to be living in to get hired? Im in NY. Im totaly clueless of how to get started and I just see alll these videos from people who have youtube channels that work on cruiseships and i just wish i knew how they got started. Is it newrly impossible to get hired ont Caribbean or a bigger ship ? Any links ?

I cruised on the ship around 1990. We were in the furthest forward bottom cabin on the right side, pretty much immediatly behind the anchor you see in the video. It's amazing to see where our cabin was plowing into the beach sand. I remember we once hit something out at sea and it was like being inside the Liberty Bell.

Went on the Madi Gras in 1984. On the Festival in 1992. Have been on several othe Carnival ships. Got on a gambling ship out of Gaveston in 1994 and realized it was the old Madi Gras. Seemed really old by then. Still that ship started my love of cruising 😎
