    I don't agree with the way this lady handled the situation, but Carnival knew there were problems with the AC before this cruise set sail. That is on Carnival!!

    Also…people are quick to complain when things don’t go the way they want, and are not as quick to offer thanks when they do.

    I was on Carnival Sunshine and our AC didn't work well either. It was pretty rough

    Conversely, do you know if Guest Services documents VIFP accounts where the guest was super nice, patient, etc.? We had an awesome Guest Services person… our luggage was lost. We were patient and kind. We ended up bonding and chatting frequently when she wasn’t busy.
    So I book my new cruise recently using a specific promo code, provided right there as a booking option. Our friends booked the same trip with the same code. My cruise is ~$200 less than theirs, AND we got $300 more OBC than they did.

    I’ve always wondered if the complaints and behaviors were documented with our VIFP numbers… now I know! I remember working a front desk at a hotel, and there were more than a few ‘repeat guests’ who tried the same ploys to get reduced rates, upgrades, etc. I truly believe there’s a manual “out there” somewhere that teaches these jerks to complain loudly and often, so they get the free stuff they ‘deserve’! 🤯

    I believe she handled it incorrectly. She should not be screaming acting ghetto ...that is not the way it should be dealt with. As my parents always said "Use sugar you get more" at some times you have to be direct not using strong language but keep it professional...believe me Carnival has this ladies # and her attitude will get her no more cruises with carnival or get black listed as a guest passenger with any cruiselines. I have seen too many on carnival so at this time I am staying with Royal carribean ..

    The way people act in public is the same way they act at home.
    The woman raising hell likes ATTENTION. This is how she grew up, all of her family members, all of her friends act the same way.
    There’s ALWAYS a better way to address a problem……she didn’t learn that while growing up.
    I hope she’s banned from cruising FOR LIFE.

    No some times the crew members are not nice . I had a crew member say to me what you do think I am your servant. I only ask him can he brought some broccoli on my plate I didn’t want my bracelets to touch the food so I ask for help not a lot of people would’ve done that they would’ve just let the jewelry touch the food. The lady was just standing there venting she did say corporate was only going to do but so much. she was not jumping in anyone’s face she was standing on the outside of the rope, telling everyone what corporate was not going to do when the lady didn’t come towards her, she did say, don’t touch me, but she never jumped in the ladies face I think because she was talking loud and telling what was happening this may have to be a troublemaker

      Unfortunately, when you employ thousands and thousands of people, you will get one or two bad apples. Carnival, does it very best to weed those people out.

      I’m not really sure what you mean by that… If you mean black people… I totally disagree. I have seen people be rude from all races. You only need to hang out by guest services for about an hour to see it for yourself.

      @@CZcamsDestinations I was not speaking of race. What I meant was when someone feels that they are not being compensated properly, they think that screaming and hollering and drawing everyone’s attention will change the outcome in their favor.
