WisdoMango is a platform that advocates growth in physical, mental and spiritual aspects of life through quality content that does not limit to one genre. We believe that the most important things that a human seeks such as happiness, motivation, courage, guidance and acceptance are not one-dimensional.
We aspire to bring together the best to create things that are rich, relevant and relatable to all. Motivation to carry on during difficult times should not only limit to words of encouragement but also guidance on accepting weaknesses and harnessing self-love. We know that knowledge (or wisdom) is power; but only when paired with discipline, empathy and perseverance, one can use that knowledge to its' optimum potential.
We hope that WisdoMango is a place where a lot lies within a small space and opening doors to finding answers for many of life's questions; Where motivation, wisdom, happiness and achievement are not just words but a way of life that's in perfect harmony.

The most important lesson I learned from "Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl

Man's Search for Meaning is a 1946 book by Viktor Frankl chronicling his experiences as a prisoner in Nazi concentration camps during World War II, and describing his psychotherapeutic method, which involved identifying a purpose to each person's life through one of three ways: the completion of tasks, caring for another person, or finding meaning by facing suffering with dignity.

This is my favourite poem by Derek Walcott and this narration is my favourite version❤❤❤❤
Here because of the crown.
Sanity at last in a world gone mad
YES ❣ I´m all ears for these words full of the most beautiful truth ❣ ❣
Thank you 🙏
Reading this poem so slowly ruins the rhythm of the poem itself
Wow! I didn't think someone would have this on You Tube but little I know! Way back in the 90s, when I was a student at a university, I mentioned to my gracious, graceful very old lady landlord, a portion of whose house I was renting, that I love rain! She said she too. Then she took out a book and read this poem to me. We both stared at each other with affection even though we were separated by at least 50 years. It was the affection of friendship and trust. Rest in peace 'Ms. Mcleskey! ' as I used to call her and in turn she would call me by my last name!
Thank you for sharing 🙏
Good
Thank you 🙏
This poem was featured in the 2013 South African comedy film "Spud 2: The Madness Continues".

Why do I cry so much when I hear this poem.
I love Mary Oliver's poetry, and Amanda Palmer read this poem, "When I Am Among The Trees", beautifully well. When I am among the trees, especially the willows and the honey locust, equally the beech, the oaks and the pines, they give off such hints of gladness. I would almost say that they save me, and daily. I am so distant from the hope of myself, in which I have goodness, and discernment, and never hurry through the world but walk slowly, and bow often. Around me the trees stir in their leaves and call out, “Stay awhile.” The light flows from their branches. And they call again, “It's simple,” they say, “and you too have come into the world to do this, to go easy, to be filled with light, and to shine.”
If I try to do that, and spending ten years living in NH trying to do that, I was followed by people from every ethnic group and harassed by them, threatened, intimidated, told I was going to be murdered there, but that is the same everywhere, and I never stopped maintaining in 40yrs that Jewish Capitalists-Zionists start the inciting. They are relentless, in not allowing people happiness!!! Temporarily however, they will flood a certain group materially and make them think that they can supply them happiness!!! This is the MO of the devil, no matter how long it appears to last, it is fleeting, temporary compared to the timing of God. That is why they cannot stand to see people who know this, happy!!!
Great poem! It has a very Thoreau-like sentiment. I wonder if Mary Oliver ever read Walden.
When you are old and far tooo close to death as you are Vincent Nichols breath with fear of the Last Jugdement, that you preach for over 60 years!!!
Good poem that is narrated well, thank you!

False is your idea of unforgiveness. How can you be forgiven if you have not forgiven?
Letting go is your greatest strength. By doing so you can clear the way for new opportunities. I first heard this poem read aloud in a woman’s healing group and it has stuck with me over the years.
Thank you 🙏❤
