It sounds reasonable for sure, the Problem is they have amazing chain cc if timed properly which makes merc considerably worse since they can stack cc and that's why even mercs won't save you. If that's the case in a Game I personally prefer going Edge of Night + Maw. It feels awful to play against that as a Mage.

That's what's best about her Kit. You rely on her Ulti a lot meaning if you miss it in a bad way you can lose the entire Teamight for your team. If you hit, it's almost impossible to lose a Teamfight, that's why Qiyana scales with the Experience/Skill of a Player.

It gives you a very strong spike but is only worth it if want to have a stronger early game. You delay your Profane Hydra by a lot so I personally don't really go for it anymore. check my Build guide for further Information on current builds. It's up to date.

since eclipse gives you % health dmg and ability haste it is a great Item for that purpose.

Hey! It gives you aditional Ability Haste for your Basic Abilities which is great for utilizing you stealth (Grass W) a lot. Especially later on Qiyana always likes to use Gras into Gras permanently to find an Angle and get a nice Ult in Dragon/Baron Pit.

If you watch closely I used AA E Q. You can do the EQ in the middle of your autoattack animation to cancel it but still get the damage through. That way you safe some time and the combo is faster.

No specific reason, I was testing it at the time. Electro is still the go to option and much easier to execute. You can go for Conq into Yas and Yone it feels amazing into them + IGN.

Yes of course! Hubris is a great Item stat wise, It's just more expensive compared to Youmus/Opportunity and also only good if you are snowballing already.

I agree, that Qiyana can be hard to learn over a long period of time because there is a lot going on. I truly believe if you put in the work and play 200-300 Games on her with a right focus on specific learning goals you will be good to go. Obviously you shouldn't blind pick her the first time you play ranked, that is not going work since there is a lot underlying practise behind playing Qiyana.

Conqueror is pretty strong early on and you can sneak in some nice solo kills if you know what you are doing. It is not that easy to use compared to electrocute, for beginners on the Champion I would still recommend electro/first strike.

1 Video alone will not make you climb an entire elo :) It's just there to give you Ideas on how the champion should be played. The hard work still needs to be done! :)

I personally feel like Smolder is very weak early on and Ignite can help to abuse that fact after lv 3. Against her specifically it gets harder lategame so you want to be trying to make something happen before that state of the game.

Let me quickly explain why I asked him about it: - It's more efficient to get Grudge as your third Item because it increases the armor penetration %wise the more lethality you have. - It's not completely horrible to get it second but something you don't see that often that's why I quickly asked him out about it. - as you can see in the Video I only asked him about the Reasoning for it and I didn't say it's wrong are right, if he gave me a reasonable answer I would just keep going and agree. - I just want him to have a thought process behind his decisions and as he said he didn't really think about it which proved to me that autopiloting is an Issue he has to deal with. Hope this clears any misunderstandings about my Question! Cheers

​@@EdoQiyana I don't see why it being something "you don't see often" makes it "not completely horrible" when mathematically it just does more damage and future proofs your build. Saying it's "not completely horrible" means that you would think it is horrible in someway or another. Grudge does become a better item with more lethality, yes this is true. But if you actually look at Grudge's stats it has 15! lethality on it + the 25% armour pen (which if someone has 72 armour is = 18! lethality) that’s a total of 33 lethality from 1 item! But hydra + grudge will do more damage than hydra + another dirk item. So why would you opt into doing less damage on 2 items and have to wait until the 3rd item to be able to get through any armour? Champions do not need to build armour items to counter most of the dirk items because champions get so much armour for free, like I said Veigo at level 12 has 85 just for being in the game. Not to mention if anyone decides to spend 300g to buy a cloth armour your dirk items just both diminish in value. People tend to like buying things like armguard or tabis vs champions like Qiyana, Zed, Talon etc. The only way I could see where you would want to buy a different item would be niche situations like: -you need more MR for some reason (mercs should be able to cover your MR problems though) -they have way to many shield champions thus making serpents fang more dmg 'cause of the shield reaver -they have some sort of upfront cc that makes the game impossible to play without edge of night spell shield (and that they cant just break the spell shield easily)

The answer is simple. Youmus/Opportunity/Edge of night are cheaper meaning you get the powers pike quicker. This actually matters. I didn't even say it's good or bad to go Grudge second, I just asked him out about it. If he would have the same argument as you do I'd say alright, makes sense. But since that was not the case I realized he is not thinking through out the game. And that's something that needs to be fixed.
