* s p o i l e r a l e r t * A lean, mean gem of a movie from Leigh Whannell (Saw, Insidious) starring Logan Marshall-Green (Prometheus) In this end scene we learn what Stem's true motive is, which results in a devastating realisation for our protagonist Grey Trace. I was not satisfied with the clips currently on YT, the length was far too short and the quality was poor. I think this movie deser...
The audio for Cora's first line sounds off, unnatural. Bad ADR job. Thankfully the second part of the scene is fine.
I'm going to hopefully hunt down a remastered version and get it uploaded
@@NautilusGoose Sorry, to be clear I wasn't blaming you, it's just something I've noticed on the DVD & I'm guessing it's the same on the blu-ray since this is HD? Don't know if there's a different version available.
@@Carl-xr9xe oh yeah no offence taken I knew what you meant 😊 yeah it's a bad ADR job then unfortunately. A tiny blemish on an otherwise brilliant film.
@@NautilusGoose totally, love the sense of grandeur in this film. The smallness of man against this awesome backdrop, and the few who truly appreciate it getting caught up in the mindless destruction.
all the negative reviews of this movie focus way too damn much on the lack of "action" and "humor". Does this look like the kind of movie that the creatives wanted to be funny or action packed? People really need to learn the difference between what makes a movie bad and what kind of movies just aren't for them
Anyone else believe this is a warning!? That it’s already happened and AI is now in charge and has been for awhile!?
Just imagine what he will achieve with its obvious high intelligence and learning capabilities
Awwwwww the spider hugged him Lowkey I can be bestfriends with that spider cuz I’d be able to trust him
"Why didn't you say anything?" "You never asked about me."
"Sorry to disappoint you" "No..On the contrary...just more deeply stirring to my blood.......than any imaginings could possibly be"
Hanus makes me cry too damn much 🥺😭 he's such a tragic but beautiful being, and i wish his species were real; so much thoughtfulness and kindness there.
LoL what the hell is this
Spaceman, new Adam Sandler Netflix movie
OK I have severe arachnaphobia and not even those cute spider video help but I'm currently desiring a 8 legged spider hug
Me too. Im very scared of spiders and just watching the movie made me want to just make amends with my fear of them because i know theyre here sharing this planet too to survive. I want face every fear incuding spiders
Watched this film last night. Absolutely loved it. There is a lot of depth to the relationship before this moment that makes the hug even more meaningful when it happens.
Did Hanus pass on the disease when they hugged
I don’t think so. Maybe it’s a disease that can’t effect humans
It's not suggested, no.
The disease is a type of parasite.
No I don’t believe so, the parasites specifically effect Hanuš’ species.
Notice the short scene here of Hanus comforting a young Yakub in his dream, on the couch. Perfect
I can't believe I didn't know about this movie until I watched it on an airplane last weekend!
Thanks for posting this clip, by the way. I didn't get to see the ending on the plane.
I absolutely love the detail where stem smiles after tasting the blood. He removes the knife from his hand, then is like: wait a second, I wonder… then tastes it Because stem knows that he can control Grey’s spine and muscles, but that faint smile is his confirmation that it also has control over Grey’s brain
Sim, tanto é que ele criou aquela realidade falsa que o grey está e vai morrer nela
Perfection of an ending . Stem gets a Body and Grey got to live out a happy life in his mind Instead of being locked in a chair
That background music 🥹🥹 "is a better place for me"
Yes
Perfect ending
The gravel in stems voice. Its always been smooth and calming till now
I'm so happy I found this masterpiece physically.
One of the most beautiful scenes in the movie - where there are many.
Absolutely horrifying......
The symbolism of the movie makers licking their fingers and then walking off at the end is infuriating. I get it.
Let me get this straight, STEM took over Grey’s body. Did Grey die or did he put him in a coma in his mind where his wife was still alive in another existence?
The second one
Leigh whannell the most under appreciated writer/director of all time
Both this and his Invisible Man film were both excellent.
R.I.P Grey 😔
God. This movie was a piece of shit.
So, what great films have you made, you modern day Kubrick of cinema?
Absolute masterpiece.
I never realized that when stem started walking out he started to turn off the lights 👀
This has to be one of the coolest yet most heartbreaking endings in modern movie history...the music with his flat, robotic delivery of his last line is a masterpiece. This actor had one job, and he NAILED it
I hear that Jason watched this movie 172 times. ♥️
Absolutely beautiful
I remember hearing something along the same lines about Earth, sky, the sun and moon from a Chumash antap ( shaman) many years ago when I was in Scouts.
Madeline Stowe's thought. "you sexy savage" lol 😆
the ending was shocking i remember just siting in my chair and like what the f :O but i think its realistic no way we humans can outsmart an A.I
This film is a masterpiece that has not been given its due
I love how I went into this expecting a unique action film and what I got was a really well done science fiction film with an unforgettable ending. One of the most memorable movies I’ve seen in years.
you can be free!
I am so drawn to this ending. So here's another comment. Can we please talk about how beautiful the composition of the view at 3:47 is? the tree symbolyzing life and how the tree branches towards gray/stem? especially to the neck and how it seems to support/push him? And how the red lighting is coming out of his chest towards cortez? and the lighting from behind. the calm green colors where the tree is and the brutal red color where stem is looking? and the further you go to the right side of the frame the darker it gets. This is a masterpiece!
The last 20 seconds + the music, gives me chills everytime
...in a better place,in his mind is where he wants to be. I never forgot that line. This movie was incredible
Trash
Goosebumps everytime.
The French trapper trying to get the Huron to keep going, but they know the significance of burial sites.
I think about this movie a lot, I think I'm losing my mind. This movie just makes me ask so many questions.
One of the best sci Fi movies
oooo
wtf onwe of the best movies i have ever watched
Predictive Programming: Transhumanism Agenda. Revelation 9:6 "And in those days men shall seek death and shall not find it. And they shall long to die, but death shall flee from them."
