In this video we Modify Luc's MX5 in the UK while I was on my OE. We endeavoured to complete 5 mods in 5 minutes which may have been too ambitious.

No M50 manifold? Dog...
There were plans to do this in stages and install an ITB setup, hence prepping for it with the ported head and m54 intake cam. However plans changed and I moved countries and sold the car.... Also as the 3L makes more base torque I was curious to see what the torque curve looked like keeping the m52 manifold since it works to hold peak torque at a lower rpm. It resulted in a very torquey mid range that worked well for pulling off the line and also pulling out of low speed corners.

We have a garage of a friend in Egypt with 3 Cressidas (78 - 85(mine) - 92) and 3 UZs (1UZ non-vvti, 3UZ 5-speed auto and 3UZ 6-speed auto). 1 hero working in parallel in 2 cars, his 78 is already done. Wish us luck with the bloody immobilizer!

You could be right. The NZ Road authority sometimes register cars wrong so could actually be a 1988 or just a rare 89. Doesn't really matter anymore anyway 😅🤘
