I Never got why they made subways and trams wheelchair friendly. I mean yes, it’s nice for handicapped people, but it tends to make other forms of transport less wheelchair friendly. In Hamburg, you could get anywhere by bus, every bus equipped with a ramp for easy access. Now they started renovating every subway station with a lift and the business are shrinking. Now you would get stuck if the lift breaks

Are there medication health that can help like manage these texts so it doesn’t happen as often if not, there needs to be one I feel bad if people have it like this sometimes because they can’t you know simple things when it’s bad and that must be so frustrating to find out what causes and get a cure for it

How do your nerves do this

Self diagnosis is an option that makes sense for a lot of autistics and that is perfectly fine and should not be shamed, but it frustrates me when people question why you would bother getting an official diagnosis because that comes from such a place of privilege. (Questioning why people self diagnose also comes from financial privilege, here I'm talking about the privilege low support needs autistics have). You can't get any official accomodations without a diagnosis, if I wasn't diagnosed I would not be able to go to college. My autistic traits were the reason I had a major depressive episode when I was 10 and had to be pulled out of school to go to a special needs school. If I didn't have an autism diagnosis, I would be excluded from so much more of life. Some autistic people can survive those things without accomodations, it's just more difficult than a neurotypical person, and its great that some autistics can, but I feel the ones who can't are frequently forgotten in conversations about autism.

I remember when I had these (I started with absence seizures, and graduated into gran maul). So many people thought I was making up an excuse for spacing out. I had to give my school counselor a doctor's note because barely any teacher believed me. I could barely hold a pencil for an hour after having one because my hands would shake so badly. I almost failed art because the teacher thought I was faking. That was 14 years ago, and it still angers me. I was diagnosed when I was 14, so I was trying to fully understand what was going on while 90% of the adults around me were just denying my disability. That was 4 years of hell.

I’m sorry that happens to you it must suck because it looks like it’s really hard ti do things with your ticks and the FND thing but it seems like you do a good job maintaining everything ❤❤❤ you’re amazing Zara

Amazing video, I myself have little ticks now and then but mine are related to the schizoefective/ schizophrenia realm and they hurt plenty. I love that you are bringing awareness to this condition and others. Keep up the great work

This happened to me but at a restaurant yes a RESTAURANT so basically what happened was that we were standing in line outside in the heat and PS we were going to eat with our dad for Father’s Day and this also happened today btw anyway back to the story we were standing in the heat for 30 mins💀💀💀because there was a huge line just to get inside the restaurant anyway after about 30 mins I started to feel weird and I knew something was off so my dad asked me if I was okay and I said no I got to sit down but then he grabbed me into his arms and then I fainted yes I FAINTED anyway when that happened he rushed me over to the shade and I was unconscious but when I woke up I knew what happened but after I woke up my dad rushed me inside the restaurant everyone was giving me water and this one kind lady that worked there gave me Gatorade and a fan after that we left the place and we went to go get icecream but I’m glad that I’m Better and that my dad grabbed on time❤️❤️❤️

You helped me realise that it's okay to use a wheelchair ambulatorily and I've now gotten my first wheelchair, so thank you! Quick practical question: how do you avoid rubber burns on your hands? I ALWAYS seem to scrape the side of my hands (at the base of my thumbs) against the rubber tyres and it's pretty annoying 🙃😅

that space jumpsuit is so cool! where did you get it from? also, its so brave of you to travel in your wheelchair, especially on the train. when i went on holiday, we had to do a hire chair, which was already awful, because it was broken, and then i had to get on a monorail with it, and it was horrible. So i know how hard it is to get around on trains and i'm so impressed you managed to do it alone as well. Also, people were so helpful! sorry for the long comment 😅
