hi just a question for bill do you have any experience wit hbuilding before ?
Love the Jaws model. Still waiting on a Toxic Avenger bust! 😁
Another educational and informative chat thanks chaps! I have had many a chat with Dave but it is only via the vids I have come to realise his and clearly Bill's tremendous knowledge of the GK business. Thanks boy's
I'm slowly drifting into 1/6 scale figures having been a normal modeller since time, this channel is a great find, nice one guys 😉👌
Bruce was 25ft long.
Sounds not great again. Still a good show.
Is it rREALLY that hard to provide links to where you can get these models ?!?!?
Superman is well nice
How do you purchase your kits

Jaws looks amazing, another great video
Hi could you please let me know how I can purchase your products . I've asked before I'm really interested in the jaws bust's

Any model shows up around Cheshire this year, nice one 😉👌
Another fascinating interview, learned so much.
Dave. As a 'collector' I would really appreciate 'box art' but many of the sculpts I guess to not have a box in the traditional sense particularly as myself as I buy finished painted. I would be great to have a C&F Studio box art on a single sheet. Another thought! Would you consider a certificate of authenticity? Sculptor, painter, manufacturer signed by yourself not suggesting a numbered sculpt but at least if I get run over by a bus my wife will be able to sell on😒
Fantastic to listen to and see Rachel. One of, if not the finest, painters (Artists) in the business ridiculously modest and such a nice lady. Always pick up my sculpts in person as we are made so welcome and of course we get Dave N's full stand up routine during which Rachel being a lady often retires to her studio! Great interview by Bill.
Sorry for your loss. He was a talented painter for sure. Losing friends is never easy. RIP, Dave.
Very generous comments to other sculptors and painters, positive critiques, that is what I enjoy about Mike and Bill's presentations.
What an interesting episode! Bringing yet another dimension the wonderfully informative Mike. Working as a volunteer at the Manchester Air & Space Museum aka Science and Industry Museum for 40 years as an Gas Turbine Engine Tech my curator gave me the pleasure of handling Lieutenant Uhura's uniform for a Star Trek exhibition, not being an Airbrush Artist this is the nearest I will get to doing anything productive in sci fi. We also had a range of commissioned Martin Bower Thunderbird models which were fantastic. Keep up the very informative talks.
So sorry to hear about 'Dave' I feel I knew this talented artist. Really enjoy a chat with Dave (and Bill) at the studio and living on the far side of Manchester it is fantastic to listen in to studio chats. I do hope the wonderfully talented Rachel is included sometime (apologies if she has I am wading through the backlog. A studio of all the talents!
I vote for Mr. Benn, that's Tony.
Audio gone a bit….low… good show gents.
You mention in a lot of your podcasts that kits are available but you never say how one can get one, is there a website with models and pricing? Also i have tried contacting Dave through various facebook postings as i am interested in purchasing your back issues of your UKGK magazine. How would i go about purchasing them from across the pond? thanks
Hi Mike check out the killerkits Facebook page
You need to be mindful of where you put the Mike can’t hear you very well when showing the models
I am trying to buy your magazines t can get no answer to this?/
We should have all back issues in stock ready for the shop in September Mate I’ll save you one of each
Nice tribute, more amazing kits.
Could you tell me where I can purchase your products from
Where are you based mate
UK Stoke-on-Trent
@@carl2232 were up the road in Northwich Mate
@@carl2232 If you don't fancy the trip up there, on 28th September the UKGK show is coming to Madeley, so saving you a run up there. Make sure you bring plenty of cash, though, as you'll be spoiled for choice.
Bill, 'studio' please not workshop. It makes it sound as if there should be a couple of mechanics hanging around. I always bull Dave and Rachel's establishment up because in truth, it is a studio and a damn fine one too.
I have no preference, as I always spray grey etch primer after all the fettling is done. Grey tends to show imperfections better.
Peter Kaye:.. Rola Cola, mum, it's S**T. Woke up in hospital..."
I’m now very worried about Bill… pmsl…. Fantastic episode
For video purposes, you just need to hit the model with a spritz of grey primer 🙂
where did he get the stl files for the Phantom and Frankenstein?
Custard! lol
What a nice bloke giving away his models,
I'm a white resin guy, and I agree with the name plaque on the back too
Brilliant stuff gents. Entertaining and informative..

what is your website?

Little correction. The Hattie Jacques model was based on her in Carry on Doctor, though she was the Matron in the film. In the Carry on Matron film, she wore a slightly different outfit.
Hopefully you fellas ship to the States I would love to have some of these amazing pieces!
Good talk and interesting subject near and dear to many of us. A few points of clarification: The 1/6 scale Karloff-Pierce barber chair kit (full figure) originally produced by Janus was re-issued by John's Models of Florida. They also have a "Hideous Sun Demon" that Janus never put into production. The 1/4 scale twin-bust version of the make-up chair kit was originally produced by Mike Calvert of Typhon and is now produced by Saul Alvarez's Silver Screen Icons. The Henry Hull transformation (Werewolf of London) is done with a series of jump cuts as the character passes behind a series of columns in the garden, so not that technologically challenging. Mike hill sculpted the Janus full-figure kit and the Geometric bust. Jeff Yagher sculpted the most recent bust originally released by Typhon and now available through Mark Warthling's Pestilence Labs. The Frankenstein meets the Wolfman kit - based on the photo shown - was sculpted by Mike Hill and released by Forbidden Zone. it's 1/8 scale. Lastly, here's Karloff and Pierce on "This is Your Life" (@ 13:40) czcams.com/video/SPeLaurq-2k/video.html
Cheers guys, it was a blasts.
You know me Dave, if it's Batman, it's got to be Adam West. The all-time classic scene is the shark, the helicopter and shark repellent bat spray. Now there's an idea for a diorama. KAPOW!
Thanks for showing off the painted kits! That makes it so much easier to see the details in the sculpts. Great job on them all. enjoyed
Rach should do a painting tutorial vid
I keep asking but she won't. She says she's too busy paint g kits. Lol!
Just put a camera over her shoulder lol
Great vid guys, great see the kits painted really like the sam,
