I thank you so much for defending this movie. I was also want to add another point against the re-used animation criticism. Disney has literally re-used animation in several other films before and afterwards, you will notice it more with the later half of the silver age and bronze age. Jungle Book borrows from Sword in The Stone and Vice versa with 101 Dalmatians. Whilst it is more noticeable in Robin Hood, the actual original animation is extremely underrated and detailed to this day. Especially the wrinkles, cloth physics and subtle ways the animal characters react in their scenarios. My favourite has to be Sir Hiss's tail folding over the basket to look like crossed arms. It's such a short moment it's a wonderful nice touch of detail.

My favorite moment from a Pixar movie would be in Inside Out, when Riley cries and hugs her parents at the end. No matter how many times I watch it, I get misty-eyed. It's just such a beautifully done and cathartic scene that perfectly displays the movie's message about the importance of negative emotions in someone's life, particularly sadness and how it can bring people together. And Riley finally smiling after letting everything out and receiving comfort is just the best resolution for the conflict. The entire moment is just so relatable, I think we've all had low points in our lives where we've bonded with others because of the resulting sadness and experienced relief after getting support. Honestly, I think Inside Out is one of Pixar's greatest movies and everyone should watch it at least once in their life, especially during childhood. I'm sooo excited for the sequel!

For some reason my fave pixar moment is the "Life is a highway" driving montage from Cars. That or when Francis reveals hes a guy to the flys and slim is like "Francis, your making the maggots cry!" Failing that, any pixar bloopers reel!

For guy who hasn't seen any Pixar/Disney animated movie id thought I'd go for the closest which from spider man across the spider verse when Gwen has a tough conversation with her dad towards the end of the film but also just wanna say congrats on the 1000 subs man keep it up 😁

I really hated val this season ...

I’m autistic and I really respect and relate to Tiana. She’s very hardworking, loyal, determined, ambitious, loves her family and never gives up on her dream which was something that reminded me of myself when I was 19. I was going into college, taking a sign making course and I wanted to get better at making signs so that I can have a really great and well paying job. I wanted to go to college so that I can have a much better future that I don’t end up like my special needs friends-No college or university education. No job. Not being able to live on my own. Now years later, I’ve been living on my own for 8 years, have gone to college twice in both data entry (which was during Covid) and sign making, work 2 jobs one for making signs for both real estate and other businesses and one for prepping government documents and other document related things and I have 2 wonderful cats, thanks to the help of my family. I’ve overcome many struggles from unemployment to dealing with the emotions and struggles of mental health and social struggles of Covid to learning to deal with change. I’m still struggling with anxiety, depression and lack of self worth and lack of self esteem along with my autism but everyday, I’m getting better and trying to improve myself of being the best person I can be while also learning how to rectify and improve my skills as a sign maker. I really hope to inspire other autistic adults to be more compassionate, empathetic, hardworking, resilient and be capable in handling and dealing with change in a mature manner. 😊

The one thing I would say is that the ending kinda felt rushed. If they just showed Tyler staying at the company over a longer period of time then just one day, I think it could’ve been better. Maybe over the course of a couple months he sees the error of his ways.

Season 2... we didn't expect it, we didn't ask for it, but when it arrived... my goodness! Season 1 was underwhelming and kinda boring. Didn't do the movie too much justice. But then comes season 2 and not only did it redeemed the first season, but did the movie proper justice. Many people were upset that Tylor's supposed character development in the first season was seemingly being wasted in the next one, but it actually made things better. If anything, it was his desire to be a jokester that came in too fast. Thankfully season 2 fixed that by making him have doubts about his decision. You work hard at being something and then suddenly want to change it? Yeah, that didn't convince me, but the second season fixed that. And it was an amazing touch having Tylor go through a similar scenario Sulley did to finally understand what he said about Boo. Then the characters. Roger Rogers was a very welcoming addition. We were all fooled into thinking he was a secret bad guy, especially when we learned he was Waternoose's son, but not only is he as nice as he first appears, he is NOTHING like his father, and that is a marvelous lesson. Just because some of your family members are bad doesn't mean you're going to be that way too. And Johnny. Another character that fooled us. We also think he mellowed out and change for the better. After all, Sulley went through that jerk phase too and changed for the better. Johnny however, not only was he the same jerk as before, he actually got worse. And that was another great addition. Some people change for the better when they grow, but others don't and might become even worse than before. It happens.

Thank you for giving How To Train Your Dragon more love it's one of my favourite movies period and so are 2 and 3. The live action remake will never hold a candle to the beautiful animated Trilogy!

I mean, sure Disney is the GOAT within the Animation Industry. But these ones are great as well! The "Ice Age" franchise is particular was my childhood....

I agree on all points you discussed. Roger was easily my favorite character, very much reminiscent of Wander (from Wander Over Yonder), the development of the characters was astounding. I especially adored Duncan though he was a character I initially hated at first. His lines were gut bustingly hilarious.

I hate to disagree with your stance on Season 2 being good, and it is better than Season 1 but it's bad. The entire dynamic of this season was Tylor facing his inner demons (Scaring which made him happy or Laughter with his work bud). The season started off strong with Tylor realizing his jokes are getting old and there's already a push for him to go back to scaring when Johnny offers him a lucrative dream job. This is good, but then it starts to fall off by dragging the story longer than it needed with Tylor's inability to choose. There's a big tug of where Tylor should be and it never gets resolved in the end. First, Tylor was pressured to turn down his offer by Val, and then later Val turns on him for reasons which prompts Tylor to go back to scaring. Then in the finale (SPOILERS) he is forcibly made to make up his Val to stop Johnny, and somehow Tylor was in the wrong the whole time. Monsters at Work couldn't give itself the decency of giving Tylor his own choice, but rather used him as a punching bag, and easily makes Johnny's statements about him being a pawn more valid. Tylor had a lot of potential had they given him the opportunity to go to Fearco on his first offer. Not only would that fix the pacing, but it would also made it more believable that Tylor doesn't like scaring than him somehow scaring one of his former kids on his first day. Not only does Tylor get the victim treatment, they also bring back Randall for cheap laughs and rewrite him entirely to be a hard villain. This is a spit in the face to all original Monster Inc. fans that knew Randall as a tragic character that fell down the rabbit hole of manipulations and gaslighting into thinking he was being a hero. The whole shot of Randall stopping MIFT from draining the screams not only assassinates what he originally portrayed as, but also destroys the side we knew that gave him a good chance at redeemption. I also need to mention how Johnny found Randall, it's about as the same as saying "Somehow Palpatine returned" which obviously left many fans laughing at how ridiculous it sounded. None of this makes sense. The season ends with Tylor and Val being a comedy duo. I like how they played the whole scene of Tylor apologizing to Ben, but the biggest question I have is how Ben's parents weren't awake or didn't hear Ben screaming and giggling at 4 in the morning. None of the writing had coherency that aligned with the movies and it goes to show that any logic there was in the first half of the season was thrown out in the end to fit the narrative. The season had a good direction in the first half of the season, but then turned into an incoherent mess in the last half.

I love Tylor and Ben's relationship. If they make a Monsters at Work season 3, I really hope Boo returns, as she is such a great character.

I agree 100%. This season’s a massive step up to season 1, also I was trying to look for the ost that was used at the end of episode 8 (during the credits). Yet I can’t seem to find it anywhere sadly.

I initially ignored the news about the show’s second season as I thought that the first was just meh at best. But… WOW. This season blew me away quite a bit with aspects such as the drama between the characters that had my heart racing. I ain’t exaggerating when I say that the scenes involving Ben in the final two episodes made tears roll out of my eyes in two different ways (🥺 and 🥹), and I wasn’t even thinking about THAT scene in Monsters Inc. Also, good for Cutter and Sunny 😊👍🏽

I grew up on this movie, and love it so much. it's so weird though, and the music isnt good. also that one racist joke is awful. Anyways, its nostalgic

I was pleasently surprised how much bigger and deeper season 2 was. Like it was so awesome having Johhny Worthington return and us finally get a really good inside look at FearCo. Even seeing minor characters like chet. But i was shocked how much Val and Tylors friendship got challenged and how much of a hard time Tylor had in season 2. I didn't expect literlly everyone turns against him. And omg the twist of Henrys waternoose son and Randall boggs returning?! Thats huge that i never ever expected

when I watched the series, I could tell this season was most likely going to have Tyler question if he can be a jokester, get back to scaring, only to have to scare a kid that he knew (likely Ben) and then feel bad about that and not want to scare anymore. I wasn't sure if Roger was a red herring and there was someone else doing the sabotage or a double red herring and they were getting us to believe it was just a red herring.
